You should never use the highway from Nice to Monaco. The normal road is so beautiful. Did you get on the highway by mistake of the road signs?

It's funny because the majority of people here walk and only take the cars out very rarely. It's usually tourists that come here trying to show off. In Monaco there is always someone richer than you, so the "showing off" part dies very quickly among residents, so you can easily tell who's a resident and who just comes here for the summer. Yeah you guys just followed the signs to Nice and you didn't take the exit before the second tunnel. That is on you though, because it is clearly marked that you are heading for the highway, and all of southern Europe has highway tolls. And you could have also paid by card, so when you drove up to the tollgate, every one would have accepted cards. France might not be the first when it comes to technical infrastructure, but they will invest heavily when it comes to taking money off you.

They are just really nice. And once they know you, no more ticket for you. You get up and they bring the car to the front.

I actually got a twizy :) though to get around in traffic here, nothing beats a scooter

I have one word for you. Twizy. Best investment I've ever made. Even some of the new parking lot entries and exits here are pretty tight. The amounts of scratches I've punished my daily driver with 🤦‍♂ so you take the nice cars out when you go to a place with valet, you take the daily driver for the shopping and you take the twizy (or just walk) inbetween.

I'd agree that both Villfrance and Beaulieu are prettier, though that's comparing apples and pears. People do not necessarily live here because of the beauty, neither would living in France bring the same advantages. Ok, if your experiences are based on driving people to Pl de Casino is all what you base your experience on, then yeah I can follow you. But you are dead wrong if you think you've even experienced a fraction of Monaco then. There are a loooot of down to earth people here. Most rich, though "plastic" is only something you'd see if you were for example, a driver, because that's how the "plastic" people travel. Most of us walk. The showing off part really wears off quickly once you understand that no matter how rich you are, there is always someone richer than you. You'd actually enjoy living here if you ever connected with the right people.

These rich types are not responsible for global warming. Living in an area of one square mile driving their supercars nowhere. where you can walk everywhere in ten minutes . Just the normal men and women of the world going to and from work are causing all the problems.

Monaco is a small place, there is not much road to drive and the traffic maybe congested only in very specific moments of the year. Most of the time it absolutely doesn't look like in this video. Also it's a marine city where the winds clean the air so no worries about that.

You'd have to be a little more specific what you mean with "these people". There are about 39'000 of us. About 10'000 Monegasque citizens and the rest are foreigners. We do actually have one homeless lady, though she is pretty well looked after. If you have a job here, you can actually apply for residency. As long as the salary can support you, you're good. So no need to be millionaire. That would indeed be the majority of foreigners. Then there are those foreigners who live here all year around, and those who spend ( let's say 3-6months a year) here. For example F1 drivers, tennis players and music stars. How are they stealing in the first place? Each group pls. Thank you 😃

Ok so honestly, there are certain times in the year where it gets a little nuts. Starts around the Rolex Masters, then of course F1 and then till the end of summer (though there is a dip when St Tropez is in high season). It's ONLY the tourists who will rev their cars. Of course there are idiots everywhere, but if you live here, you are not just here for the parties. So you got to pick a little where you want to live. The police are really strict though, and will impound the car if someone pushes the limit where police are on patrol. But in terms of atmosphere it really is only the revving that bothers. The rest you don't really notice.

But while you are alive ....??? boy ...oh ...boy ....what joy ....!!!!.....
