This project, inspired by the artistic works of Canadian creator Rolland Poulin and expressed through sculptural language, aims to showcase the exquisite qualities of the Laurentian Forest. By juxtaposing the object against its natural surroundings, the project emphasizes the sublime nature of the forest. The project's pure and monochromatic elements intentionally avoid competing with the lush vegetation; instead, they establish a harmonious dialogue with it. As the seasons evolve, the building transforms into a discovered object, leading observers on an architectural journey that concludes with a terrace/belvedere on the third floor, offering a breathtaking view of the mountains.
The interior design follows a deliberate plan, guiding visitors through a promenade that unveils the various features of the project. This journey also facilitates access to nature in diverse ways, including moments on the ground floor, strategically placed openings, and the arrangement of two weather-protected terraces that enhance the overall outdoor experience.
