Күн бұрынFinally back with some updates on my house! I'm realizing that decorating is really hard AND expensive. I spent over $7,000 on lighting for my bedroom!! This home design journey has thrown so many curveballs, I did NOT think it would be this complicated to furnish a house! But I've made some progress in my bedroom, and I have a few other things in the works for the rest of the house! I'm really excited!

Thank youuuuu... my grandmother and my mother are always criticizing my use of false flowers. It's like cut flowers die quickly and can cost a lot to keep replacing. Plants can be temperamental and just die on you if you're not a green thumb. Ain't nobody got time for this mess!!

If you put your sheets on your bed while they’re a little damp it should help with the wrinkles ( my mom was a house keeper so it’s something she taught me lol)

I also started my KZfaq after following Ravens channel. I'm not as consistent as I should be but I'm better now than I was when I first started. Its not as easy as she makes it seem. She's definitely a pro at this stuff!

A quick inspiration - Nothing that has happened to you is a surprise to God. God’s hand is always on you. He’s ordering your steps. If the door is closed, it was supposed to be closed. If the person walked away, they were supposed to walk away. Don’t get upset, keep moving forward. God has already worked the situation out. He has something greater in store for you. You're so lucky you have a CB2 near you, I ordered my furniture and stuff during black friday and I'm still waiting on all my furniture, they don't even have estimated times anymore. 😔🙃 That being said, yes! Take your time. I bought my house last June thinking I could do everything within 6 months. L.O.L. I'm giving it 3 years.

I love the plans. They look functional for the laundry room yet so classy. The aesthetic of the bedroom is beautiful. The chandelier and lamps are elegant and gives the room such a warm comfortable tone.

I have the same plants if you blowdry the leaves you can shape them more to make it look more natural I also put more slits sparingly throughout the tree it helps a lot

Raven!! To get your sheets fluffy and streamlined- you want to take them out of the drier slightly wet. Not soaking or damp, and then put them on the bed. Spray your fav room spray onto them. And theyll finishing drying flat and stretched out!! 💙🦋

if you want that super smooth look for bedding, get them done by the dry cleaners! I do it monthly on two sets and its perfect!

You're doing a great job! this home decorating can be a challenge. My next door neighbor had great success with California Closets - they made a huge dressing room dream closet for her and also a FABULOUS laundry room! se loved working with them. We don't own our town house we rent but as soon as we own I would totally consider using them. I love all of your Inspiration pics, you have a great eye and know what you love. cant wait to see more:) also, I think lighting plays such a big part and when you give the laundry room some gorgeous lighting it will create a luxurious feeling that I sense you are striving for:) you've got great style !

Gorgeous ! I just Incorporated the colour navy blue in my bedroom a gorgeous pop of colour. I do agree with you black or white lamp shades. Just beautiful ! Try putting some led can lights or up spot lights behind the plants and adjust them to your liking they will add a beautiful and dimensional architectural look at night, It was a trick used in old Hollywood. Much love and happy decorating ❤️

I had the same problems with my cover, I ordered a hand held steamer on amazon and it worked wonders. Try that instead of purchasing a new one if you like the one that you currently have 💕
