Hello Lucie. Enjoyed your videos. I have stayed in Holbox in 2013 and 2018. Alot has changed and it continues to change there. Maybe not for the good. In 2013, it was VERY laid back. Lots more people in 2018. I love the island. Wish I was there NOW!

This is a great video! I will note it is very difficult to get a room at Casa Las Tortugas. They do not use any traveling website. You have to call directly or go on their website.

Thank you! Yes you are correct! I'd recommend booking Casa Las Tortugas months in advance, especially in high season.

Some hotels I've noticed by watching videos, will let people go in a film the place. Because it's free advertising for the hotel.

You're absolutely right. I've only been told off once going into a hotel here but usually they are happy to have free advertising 😊

They can get bad during sunrise and sunset but usually they won't bother you too much. Bring repellent and long trousers for those times 😊
