The ever is actually the Trent and Mersey canal in the heart of the country near the junction of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal,an ideal location for touring the inland waterways Thanks Simon

Hi thanks for your comments. We initially wanted windows as we had windows in our previous stoke on Trent boat. But after viewing a boat the same as ours, we would never go back to having windows. You really need to come and see it to appreciate the perspective of the portholes. For privacy and security and a more traditional look. Thanks Simon

@@simonboden2360 I tried. I hired a boat with all portholes. I really couldn't do it. I would need a hatch at the very least, but I need windows that open. I'm slightly claustrophobic so I really have to be careful. Thanks for the response though x

@@Charlienmeg I'm with you. I'd want one almost all glass. Oh to be motoring along the canals and see all the beautiful scenery going by. Curtains would solve the privacy issue. I have the same complaint about RV's as well.

The boat is virtually level,it’s the angle of the the photo and perspective that gives the impression that the front is a lot higher than the stern

Yes the mooring is available and paid for until November,it includes the summer house,table and 4 chairs,storage locker full of boat bits including lawnmower.The mooring decking are none slip plastic scaffolding boards with decking lights . The mooring costs Is approximately £1200 per year paid to the farm shop

Yes there is 240 power points through out the boat with 2kw of pure wave electric so playing a play station game is not a problem. To connect to the internet you would require a internet mobile modem Thanks for your question Simon

Hi Rob,the reason for selling Alfred has been one of the hardest decisions l’ve hard to come to terms with.After boating for over 40 years ,having traveled virtually every mile of the inland waterways ,l’ve decided let Alfred go to another family who will benefit and get as much pleasure as myself and my family have had , it’s been a fabulous adventure but it’s time to follow a new path and a new adventures. That and my wife says so!!! Thanks Simon .

Hi ABC123 , that question is not as strange as you may believe,as a canal boat friend of ours had his narrowboat Phylis May taken over to American and took their boat all along the Intracoastal waterway.His name is Terry Darlington and he wrote a book of their adventures called Narrow Dog to Indian River.Great book , try and read it Thanks Simon
