To all the haters…my local dealer had the SX Prestige at $58k, well over sticker, & would not budge. Went to another dealer to get my 2020 S appraised. They had a dawning red SX Prestige beauty on the lawn out front. Imagine my surprise when they gave me only $1k less than I paid 3 years ago for my car AND took money OFF the $53k sticker of the 2023 Prestige allowing me to upgrade to this loaded Telluride. It really pays to shop around. I had zero issues with my 2020. I am disappointed about the wired Apple CarPlay and for $53k it should definitely have a real dual exhaust, not just on one side. (The faux wood grain on the dash is tacky too but the wheels make up for it) I get compliments every time I go somewhere. Who knew my 2020 would be such an amazing investment? These cars have the best residual value. Far more than my previous Highlanders or 4Runner!

Shopped them really hard at the beginning of this year to replace my wife's POS 2013 Honda Odyssey. Had zero'ed in on the SXP Xline. Just couldn't bring myself to pay the several thousand (5-15k) over MSRP that every dealer wanted. And they weren't afraid to tell you about it (imagine paying almost 70k for a Kia?!?) Just assures that I will never step foot in a Kia dealership again. And after all that I saw Car Care Nut's review of the Palisade underpinnings and made me very happy I did not take the bait.

Gotta shop around. My local dealer wanted $58k+ for the SX Prestige. I shopped around & pulled into a different dealer who had a dawning red beauty on the front lawn. They gave me only $1k less than I paid for my 2020 S three years ago AND took money OFF the $53k sticker! I got an amazing deal & drove out in my Prestige a couple of hours later. My 2020 turned out to be a great investment. Made even better by a dealership that wanted to keep me in a Telluride, & upgrade me to almost the top trim level!

I'm in the minority, but I think the refresh is a step back. The front end looks way less premium, IMHO. Yes, the amber DRLs were so iconic, but even the bumper applique is just unfortunate. Our Kia dealer went from having no Telluride's available(and when they did, they had a substantial ADM on them) to being stocked with many. I wonder if the redesign has something to do with it?(or possibly new entrants like the Pilot and Mazda dampening the demand) The Palisade refresh looks so much better.

Very nice car! One gripe I do have however, and frankly I'm surprised to see nobody else mentioning this online, but the lack of ability for the rear passengers to control their own sunroof, over their head. I don't really understand why that switch is only in the front. Other than that no complaints

Nice! But my friend has a 3 year old model and he decided to buy out his lease. Soon after, his AC went out, engine mounts were bad, and he had some transmission issue. Total repairs totaled nearly $6k. Not sure why warranty didn’t cover it….so I wonder if he was taking it in for service. I dunno but I thought that was weird.

They turn to garbage as they age.. Too much false hype about those vehicles..😕They start using oil as well.. and carb up.. Kia Sorrento's have bad transmissions.

@Charles Jackson Agreed, wish people didn't buy things just based on great looks and numbers. Longevity should be top priority. Kia and Hyundai don't hold up so well especially with poor maintenance

Yeah, it seems strange when other brands have it like Dodge/Jeep, Mazda, Honda, etc. Palisade doesn’t have it either, so not sure.

All Dodge/Jeep vehicles have wireless AA/AC except the Charger/Challenger which are still running the old UConnect 4 system.

@@hellkitty1014 actually they do have wireless AA/CP in the lower models with the BASE infotainment systems. Very ODD in my opinion! Why not reverse that decision and have wireless in the upper trims? Again, very ODD!

It was a fun 20 months owning this vehicle when it first came out, I ended up trading it in for a Kia Sorento PHEV once I noticed 18 mpg overall with mainly local miles. It would be so perfect if there is a hybrid or PHEV version. Although EV9 (Electrified Telluride) is coming out soon but the poor US charging infrastructure will make the EV9 a dealer breaker for me.

Other people that complained about the fuel mileage ended up going with the Toyota Highlander Hybrid. The Sorento hybrid is also a great option just as long as it doesn't have a DCT for reliability reasons.

@@brokeboy87 They are two different types of SUV. If anyone goes to Highlander Hybrid, especially recent models, they should have never bought gasoline V6 SUV. I currently own 2 Highlanders, one for V6 gasoline and the other for V6 Hybrid. Even V6 Hybrid, I am complaining lack of acceleration and responsiveness. And very small 3rd row and cargo space. It depends on what you need.

Anyone hear talks about wireless Android Auto? I'm looking into a 2024 Prestige X-Line and caught somewhere that it still isn't implemented. Wireless charging but wired Android Auto is blah for a top of the line trim package.

I still think the Hyundai Palisade has a nicer, classier look overall, very happy with mine. Interior feels better designed (more practical - especially the center console) in the Palisade as well. Same price when comparing features, I would opt for the more luxurious looking palisade any day over the telluride,but the telluride does look like the average man's range rover.

Here in Canada they're way too expensive, 7 - 10K more than the Hyundai Palisade and the'yre not worth the extra cash, for my money. I'd save the money and get the Palisade.

The Mazda CX-90 being rear wheel drive makes it a bit tight in overall space however, it actually has some performance under the hood.

Explorer Platinum offers a 400hp V6. I believe the Grand Highlander will offer 360hp. So, not quite on the Mazda and its performance is just ok, despite its large power number.
