in this episode we go for a Christmas watch shopping trip to the Dubai Mall and see what beautiful watches we can find and buy. My favorites are the Lange und Soehne 1815 auf und ab, Audemars Piguet Royal Oaks and the Panerai Luminor Due. @@sa.2128dont trade the Daytona. Rolex value is going up far faster than AP. Plus Rolex is building a mega store in NYC. 4 floors of Rolex in their new 28 story headquarters.

@@sa.2128 really depends on your taste. Both watches are awesome. I would probably not trade my AP for the Daytona as I like the history of it a lot and it is so hard to get.

Panerai is great but I go with medium Cartier Santos second best brand after Rolex plus Santos is iconic brand medium looks better on you

The Cartier in medium looked good. The AP in silver was my favorite from the selection.

At 13:19. That is a beautiful watch. Very classic style. A. Lange & Sohne are often overlooked by collectors.

Excellent job going around different manufacturers and trying on different watches. Some great pieces especially A. Lange & Sohne. The German Patek Philippe in quality and finishing.🤔

Nice selection of watches. I own the Tudor BB 925. It is such an understated piece - the dial really pops in the sunlight. I agree it would be nice on a bracelet, but I really enjoy wearing mine on the OEM strap.

Not sure if you know but the Speedmaster now comes with an easy adjustment clasp. I got got this fitted by Omega on my 2021 version that did not come with this originally. I think it was £125 which is a bargain and makes it a better daily watch.

The nicest watch outside of the Longe is the gold 40 mm panerai. That was a fair price at 18k for a beautiful watch. But I also keep going back to the gold hand and indecies on the panerai and at 7,600 if you like it you should buy it and enjoy.

I’m not going to lie, I love the Panerai base logo. I am extremely into watches and don’t even want this to be my choice. The heart wants what it wants.

At 7:34. The medium Cartier Santos looks much better on your wrist than the large. It is more classic looking than the large. And you really don't need the date function.

Called my dealer in vienna on the day of release of the iwc ingenieur....had the opportunity to see and buy it end of november....turned the offer down for obvious reasons....😅

Have to say ,I visited the zenith store in that mall. Top service and great chat even though I was a bit of a tyre kicker they couldn’t have been nicer and helpful.

I enjoy shopping at mall stores in Las Vegas, but I rarely buy new from AD's. My preferred hunting ground is for used watches in Japan, esp. with the $US being strong against the yen.

The medium Santos looks perfect on your wrist. Not a fan of the Panerai Luminor Due. The Lange is gorgeous but very pricey, perhaps a secondhand piece would be the way to go. Cheers!

Good comment on Omega in Dubai Mall - I had a similar experience. Huge spend - then to get a 321 or Snoopy they wants some unrealistic bundle deal. Good call out to all. Otherwise hard to beat the value of the Panerai - enjoy it for what it is!

The "Fancy part" well glad you know, the whole dam place to me was the "Fancy Part", lol. Nice vid, thanks for shooting. That Langa store is their flagship one so they should be able to get you want. I was offered a plat datagraph but did not have the cash. Secondhand is your safe bet for value.

Hey, great video. How do you compare the IWC Ingenieur to your Laureato? IWC is priced to compete with the Laureato (difference of $2k~) so was wondering which one do you prefer and why?

For me the GP is closer to high horology and has a much more refined finishing. Also the brand is more luxurious. IWC has the genta story in the back and might be more appealing from a brand perspective to the mass. Objectively speaking the GP is much better value for the money and the better watch imo.

Navy Seals don’t where Paneri but they do wear Tudor and Rolex. There have been some or maybe some Pans but hardly any. Casio G shock is really how they go.

Great video again. The mall looks fantastic. Certainly a place you could over spend. 😂. I was certainly lucky when I got my snoopy. Walked in my local boutique, asked about one and 10 minutes later walked out with it. Was the only one they had ever got. Only took 3 months to get my Explorer ll white dial.

Interesting enough, AD's in the US have the same empty cases as in Dubai. Although, some AD's are pushing CPO watches at over "new" retail prices here.

I was just in London - datejusts available sitting in inventory. I bought one for my dad. Both two tone and steel. The situation for Rolex is changing, at least in London and to an extent in the US

Great tour. Not a Lange fan. Don't buy a 30m WR Panerai. Unless you have massive wrist buy the medium Santos. Only young execs in the pharmaceutical business buy the large then ruin it by getting a bustdown. 😂😂😂
