Completely wrong advice. He should focus more on the Pret series and less on the bespoke because no one in their right minds will pay so much for a luxury brand with no heritage. Even clothing luxury brands like Gucci, Versace also sells their watches in less than 1 lacs because no one is willing to pay more. If you wanna charge in lacs, you need to have some sort of heritage watchmaker in your portfolio.

Gucci and versace are luxury clothing brands but they aren't luxury 'watch' brands True luxury brands include rolex and patek phillip who have great usedmarket value and easily cost 10L+ in retail Other brands like jacab and co cost in crores What I'm trying to say is that luxury watches from true watch brands are in high demand and they also have many wealthy buyers and collectors so he should focus more on the bespoke series otherwise he'll devalue his brand

Heritage isn't important if your story is good enough, look at brands like Jacob & Co. which is relatively recent in the watch industry but still carved out a niche for itself and made a mark on the business

We need luxury reputed company from India to grow and compete with other premium brands like Tissot ,omega , grand seiko , hamilton , rolex , patek and list goes on . Hmt had that opportunity but they missed it due to government official mindset. It is quite impressive that some Indian brands - Jaipur watch company, Bangalore watch company and Ajwain came forward to compete with these giants. Hmt is also doing decent improvement past these years. If you are planning to buy premium watch then must consider our Indian brands . I just bought watch from Jaipur watch company for 50,000 and trust me it is piece of art . Thank u .

let's be honest 20k is the starting we can have precise watches from Titan motion watches from timex and fossil I don't think anyone would prefer these watches without even knowing about the make and the movements the strategy of Micromax doesn't work everywhere

Why in the good fuck would someone buy a 20k fossil watch with a goddarn cheap movement . Dude I got a Casio for 18k and it is a monster. If you want an automatic you can get a seiko , but fossil is a big no

😂😂😂 Bro HMT does not make movements anymore! They did have made in India movements back in the day, but they don't manufacture them anymore. They use Citizen movements now, particularly Miyota.
