You always finds the best condition ones. I just won a bid on one and the condition looks be good for the price, the top leather trim isn’t cracking and it even has the cord in good condition. I’m super excited about it. Next will be the delightful mm.

White looks good on you girl ! Love how it shows off your tattoo ! I still love the look of this original Montsouris vs the new version and even more than the newer version that’s coming out . I know most don’t like the vachetta bottom , but I think that is what makes this bag for sure ! It’s so much like a Noe/backpack combo ! Yours is in awesome condition , plus if you ever wanted you could always get the leather replaced down the road ! But I say keep it with that honey patina , I like you prefer patina vs the white white new vachetta ! Looks great on you girl ! Backpacks have truly been my go too for months now ! Great review

LVCoffeeLver frumpy ?? Not at all , I think it really brings out the nice tan you have, shows off the beautiful colors in your tattoo and just looks fresh , definitely not frumpy at all girl ! I am not 1 to wear white shirts either so I get not being used to wearing white , but when I do I always get more compliments than when I wear darker colors ! I am just a clutz and I feel like every time I wear white , without fail I spill something on it , so I never leave the house without a tide pen or my shout wipes lol !

I enjoy this backpack. I crisscross the straps in the back. I also use a small leather loop piece at the end of the drawstring in addition to double knotting the tie. Thank you for making me pull this out. Had been debating selling prior to the resurgence. Yours looks to be in really good condition. Enjoy your bag.

Ok I had that exact bag from 99 until last year and I sold her, but I carried her in the early 2000’s like crazy! The older (and fatter) I get the less I can deal with the buckling then opening. And also I was getting too big for her. I got almost $1000 for her!!! I want to say I only paid $500 originally. Lol. Congrats. I’m glad you love it!

White is your color! You look beautiful! I can’t ever understand why I’m so against vachetta! I have found in the past that it really does wipe clean really easily! Can’t wait to see your comparison video, surprised you already like this piece more than the Palmsprings backpack.

melikeetoo you’re so sweet thank you! I always feel frumpy in white but I loved it with black pants haha. I love love love Vachetta. I’m such a fan of it dark too. Well it’s easy to like more bc it’s so much more user friendly!!! And the way it feels with both straps on is just better lol

I agree it’s so pretty! When it’s rereleased It will be interesting on how lv prices it. I have a feeling it’s going to be very popular. With all the increases they’re getting pretty expensive. I’m def going to keep an eye on the release date. Great video!

I purchased a leather string slide off of Etsy and put that on mine so I wouldn’t have to tie/untie it. It works great!

This backpack is everything! I’m glad you mentioned about the wipes, I just purchased this today hence why I was watching your video ❤️ did you use the Water Wipes? Just lightly wipe all of it or just the canvas?

I typically never recommend wiping down LV bags buuuut when it’s preloved, I feel lightly doing it once is ok. Maybe it’s the germophobe in me lol. I’m pretty sure I wiped this whole thing down. Only water wipes though!! And immediately dry it with a white cloth

LVCoffeeLver - It’s gorgeous. BUT the shoulder strap connects to d-rings that are both on the back of the bag - so it hangs sort of tipped. I know because of that I’ll never use it so I sent it back.

SO CUTE!! what do you think about the vintage canvas? Is it the stiffer, bumpy “dryer” canvas or like the rubbery, smoother canvas? The rubbery canvas that’s on so many of the new bags feels yucky to me (weird, I know 🙄😂) I love the stiffer canvas.

Sooz Pook it’s definitely thicker canvas so I guess it’s more stiff but in a good way. Feels like other vintage bags I have and have owned and truly love the feel. Can’t beat old lv that’s for sure

YES! I love love love to just use them and love when they get dark from use. So, watermarks just don't bother me. I'm so excited for this bag. I've used it so much. I've switched for a day or so but I just want to go back

Hi Tiffany... if you don’t mind but can you tell me the cost ? I have found one for 1100 usd from 2000 date code in very good condition with one big water mark on the bottom otherwise even patina. Not sure if is too much ?

I got a GM about three years ago and I've been thinking about adding the MM. But yeah, the pocket on the GM fits my Samsung Galaxy s8, a card case and my LV six key. I use an organizer in it and just running errands I leave it uncinched but buckled so I can reach into it through the sides. Oh! And I also got a slide for the ties that Autumn recommended. The straps are great too. They're like a cotton strap similar to a guitar strap, very comfortable and holds a TON. I used to take to my son's travel baseball tournaments and it was great for that too because you haul so much crap for games all day. The MM Montsouris and a GM Neverfull are the last on my list!

Mermandi76 I totally considered the GM for that reason! There are days when you go places and need a lot! I mean once baseball is back to actual normal we will have lots more games and practices and as you know, it’s so much work!!! I love these backpacks. Awesome to know how much the gm pocket holds!

But still so much fun, nothing better than my little guy in uniform on the field! My son is 15 now and the team we had dissolved so he's not playing anymore travel 🙁 But he still plays for his school and that so much easier 🤪

EMR I did too, twice, but somehow I managed to loose them both when I untied my bags😭. They would slid off easy 🤷🏻‍♀️. Owell, they are nice tho .
