It’s defined by imposing neoclassical monuments and buildings - including the iconic ones that house the federal government’s 3 branches: the Capitol, White House and Supreme Court. It's also home to iconic museums and performing-arts venues such as the Kennedy Center.

Love DC. I worked there for years. Used to walk through the Enid Haupt Garden, next to the Smithsonian Castle every morning on my way to work. I miss it sometimes. I still visit semi-frequently, but not daily like I once did.

Thank you for watching. Most of those buildings and museums are between White House and Capitol Hill - around The National Mall. If you walk from White House to Washington Monument and then to Capitol hill you will see lots of museums - which is really nice to have them in one place and all of them have free admission
