Road Trip - Driving from Toronto to Quebec City | Canada travel vlogs
We had few free days in beginning of May and decided to visit Quebec City. It took us about 9 hours in total with all stops along the way.

I did this in 2022 except went from Quebec city to Toronto Via Montreal and Ottawa

The "Madrid" deserves a bit of explanation. "Le Madrid" was a restaurant and hotel near Drummondville which looked a little like an old Spanish building, with white walls, a tower with crenelations and red roof. It was a place known for its tacky and kitsch sides, with a monster truck collection and the fiberglass dinosaurs you still can see. It was either reviled, mocked or loved for that tackiness, sometimes all at the same time... It was sold in 2011 and the new owner demolished the old landmark to build a cheap, modern rest area with a St-Hubert and a McDonald. I wrote landmark, because it was pretty recognizable and everyone who was travelling between Québec City and Montréal knew they were mid road.
