Timur Abdukarimov is one of those mercenaries from the Wagner group whose worldview was changed by the war. He was in prison for drug trafficking on a large scale. He decided to join Wagner's group after the colony "tightened the screws": the conditions of detention were sharply worsened and they stopped giving him the HIV medication he needed. In an interview with Liubomyr Ferens, Timur explains how the Russian conveyor belt for sending prisoners to death works. He also shares his thoughts on why Russia needs this war and why ordinary Russians have submitted to Putin's will.
