Probably an unpopular opinion: This is exactly what I love and *hate* with a passion about labs. I hate playing labs, because every time I get into a firefight with someone, they are always this LANDMARK/QuattroAce wannabe (nothing wrong with that, I just can’t compete). Yet I love watching this gameplay from the other perspective because of the high-octane pvp focused memery that we see here. You could take any one of his kills in this video, and It would sync up to how I die basically every time on labs.

Since this patch I've found my fps has taken a hit without adjusting any grpahical settings. Offline mode more so, loading screen at 5 fps and a lot of spikes in-game. Online a bit better but hitting 60 on customs when I used to get 90. Anyone else noticed the same? Maybe code changes that brings more cpu overhead?

Try setting you graphics to high+texture streaming. It will put more on you graphics card and less on your cpu

i have a 2080 super and what ended up fixing it for me was turning off vsync in nvidia control panel turning on vsync in tarkov. But what really fixed it was going Borderless. for some reason full screen capped me at 60fps in game. now im getting 100+. try borderless

Just send it, gear fear is real and you just gotta get over it honestly you can always get the same kit, it also helps to run with a group aswell

What helped me a lot in the beginning is learning how to make money. Scav on one map until you learn loot spots, make money, then as your pmc, when you scared of losing gear or dying, just think "I can make this kit back, I'll fight this dude"

im level 40 with >15m rub & ~80m stash value, I have never been on reserve or labs either if it makes you feel better haha tbh I got most of my racks from customs and shoreline runs, with the occasional cheap woods run to try and farm Shturman & his lock box.

mods dont matter too much if you have your skills maxed out

just a standard meta fal. most would probably use a RK-2 foregrip for the reduced recoil instead of the canted, and he is using a suppresor which most dont. but other then that its pretty standard

well you can argue that mods dont matter at any skill level since you can control recoil by dragging the mouse in the opposite direction. But adding mods certainly helps. and im not 100% sure, but i dont think there is an ergo boosting stat (ads speed)

@@NotOlzen yea.. but with maxed skills a standard akm is pretty much the same as a meta akm for people wihtout lvled skills.. and ergo is still a thing.. yea.. but those tiny differences dont make too much of a difference for the outcome most of the time.. eitherway... focus on lvling skills and get decent ammo before worrying about meta mods.. brings you further overall

whats make you not get bored of this, i always see you just stomp through everywhere wiping 9 times out of 10. to me after a few raids win or lose, no matter the caliber, im dusted. game feels redundant imo

@@cattysplat dont think a new map will change that. if you dont enjoy playing shooters, just to fight ppl (like cod or bf), then adding a new map wont change that. i like the rush you get from fights in this game since you loose all your shit. like in dayz. if i just want to mindlessly play a shooter i play cod. And new map wont be added till 13.0 as far as i know, which is probably quite far away

Switch up your loadouts and quit using all meta builds, you always use the fal on labs. Try stuff like the 5.56 and 308 mdr, arkangel m1a builds,, or geissele m4 builds that look sick but aren't meta.
