This video talks about homeopathic medicine Lycopodium in detail. In this video I have shared my experiences about indications based on which I use it and conditions where I have found it to be very effective. A discussion about abuse of this medicine especially by young males in treating Erectile dysfuction and Impotence and its side effects is also mentioned. Its effectiveness in treating gastric issues, hair fall, hair thinning, male pattern baldness, urinary symptoms, mind symptoms are discussed. Constitution of persons in whom Lycopodium is indicated is also explained. There are four key indications that I always consider to prescribe it in mind symptoms. These includes sadness in morning time, fearfulness of little things especially fear of being alone, extreme irritability from slightest things, failing brain power and weak memory.
Lycopodium is very effective in hair fall cases especially in males with male pattern baldness. It is very effective in young males having hair loss complaint typically receding of front hairline. If this medicine is used in early stages of male pattern baldness, then baldness can be slowed down and even stopped in some cases. The main key indications to use it are receding hairline, premature baldness (baldness in young boys) and high levels of testosterone.
Next Lycopodium is very effective for cases of erectile dysfunction, erection issues with normal desire and premature ejaculation. I have frequently seen abuse of this medicine by many males to increase sexual ability. It in no ways help to enhance sexual ability in males already having normal ability, rather it may have side effects and lead to erectile dysfunction. So it advised not to take this medicine to just increase sexual ability.
Next there are two very important indicating symptoms for its use. Firstly it is primarily effective for right sided complaints like right sided throat pain, right sided nasal polyp, right nasal blockage, right sided eye problem, right side headache. Lycopodium is very effective for gastric problems as well. For gas issues, the main indications for its use are gas problem in evening, gas in lower abdomen, weak digestion, bloating of abdomen from little eating. Another main symptom is of low appetite.
Next are urinary conditions where Lycopodium is very helpful. It is effective in prostate enlargement in old men especially where excessive straining to pass urine is there and urine flow is interrupted. Next important indication is kidney stones especially right sided. A symptom frequently indicative to use it is pain from kidney stone which is relieved from passing urine.
