Lyanne you said acids are the most important and then literally didn’t list one actual acid in your routine lol. You do know hyaluronic acid isn’t an actual acid acid right. It’s just a hydrator. Not an actual chemical exfoliant acid at all.....your routine you listed has no actual acid lmao

Cheap trick: I use Cerave Moisturising Cream around my eyes and lips. It calms down any redness and/or sensitivity, leaves the areas soft and plump (I usually get a bit of rash from toothpaste because my skin is very sensitive). I do this after my water cream moisturiser morning and night.

I’m 72....Been using Ponds Face Cream for 60 years and any night cream that’s on sale. I have great skin...although I do enjoy watching what women do for their skin now.

My grandma used nivea and Vaseline everyday and looks like she’s in her late 30’s you guys had the good basic and perfect moisturizers !! I noticed nobody goes near anything with petroleum or mineral oil but they’re the best it’s such a shame !!

KG that’s a skincare myth, they’re actually the safest ingredients you can put on your skin if you’re acne prone and breakout using them it’s because you aren’t cleansing right. That’s coming from my board certified dermatologist

But if you've sweat all day, the sweat and dirt is trapped under that jewelry. And you're supposed to carry your skincare down your neck. Can't do that with jewelry on 🤷🏻♀️

ChandniVlogs I agree. I don’t take any of my jewelry off even if it’s technically dirty. I shower with my anklet, rings, bracelet, two necklaces, my stud earrings and my nose ring. After I wash my body and rub on my jewelry I step out the shower to do my skin care routine. I Don’t take them off. I sleep with them and the next day ill do it all over again. If I took anything off I would forget to put it back on. I’ve had the same jewelry for YEARS. I do get how it’s weird with a big necklace that clearly it looks like it was a big piece for a night out but everyday jewelry.. not so much 🤷🏻♀️ just thought I would share ☺️

@@fattysl26 You should think about it. The skin on your neck is the same as your face. Its one area that shows signs of aging first (along with hands) because people never use the products for their face on their neck.

She probably is in her daily routine, but as a lot people said in this Harper's Bazaar series, it's hard to do it in front of the camera (especially the washing part) as sometimes it may get messy

Washing the neck probably takes place in the shower. For Lydia, she has mentioned in her channel that she prefers and usually washes her face as well in the show since it is way easier and less messy.

Ghafur Rasyid Arifin I just commented this on another comment! I watch her KZfaq videos regularly and she always cleanses and brings her products down to her neck. Susan Yara also mentioned what you said that sometimes while they are doing these types of videos they forget to do important parts because of nerves or maybe just from talking to a camera rather then just them in the bathroom or even Harpers Buzzar edits out parts to fit whatever they want on the video. I’m so glad she mentioned the retinol and acids and how she’s just not using them at the moment. If she didn’t then people would say “wow no retinol? No acids??”

I was with you until you applied the face oil first. Oil is supposed to go last to lock in moisture. Or it can be mixed with the moisturizer.

I’m not sure about this specific oil but some oils actually have a thinner consistency and can be applied before moisturiser :)

Actually, the oil goes on right before the cream/moisturizer. The oil penetrates the top layer of your skin, hydrates it and then you use the cream/moisturizer to lock it in. Dr. Dray's instructions!
