Dear all, A week ago,Singer Prahathi came home to sing a thirukkural and after finishing the recording, we had a little time to talk something musically and about perfect pitching and singing in tune etc etc... We all wished Lydian to sing and he sang a portion of a popular song "Semmozhi" in tamil language composed by Dr.A.R.Rahman sir... The singer appreciated Lydian after his singing and so i thought of sharing the same to all my well wishers and music lovers...🙏❤🎹

SINGER LYDIAN EVOLVING .......

When I had thought I saw every talent in Lydian, and that list is enormous already 🙉 we saw a completely different side to him that really made me speechless 🤭 I have heard Lydian’s voice before, but this really feels like he delved right to our souls 😌 I have just heard this rendition in loop fo a couple of times, was just closing my eyes to listen to the voice alone, what a voice - what can I say, when he has a sister and father who are phenomenal singers, why should it surprise me that he will also be the same?? 😀 Especially when heard in the night... what a feeling it is 🌌 How do I put it logically I have no idea, but the best way to describe this video is that my ears were dancing to the rendition, both ears were dancing to the musical fingers and voice travelling in the air 😌 Now Lydian had mastered the art of vocals in his long list of talent 🎩 how gifted you all are to be this talented but somehow born into this world 🌎 doesn’t make sense because I am pretty ordinary and yet still breathing the same air as all of you... makes no sense to this day 🤷‍♀️ I am happy that singer Pragathi witnessed and praised this, as she herself had a lovely voice and knows just how to appreciate a wonder family like you all 🙌🙌 And I didn’t forget to see Paapa looking so happy 😀 her mentorship is not to be forgotten, and her voice has its own fanbase entirely 🤩 I get headaches frequently nowadays, but instead of tablets I think the best remedy is music on its own... thank you very much for posting this uncle 😊❤️ Ellarume eppidi irukeenga? My observation with Lydian was he played keyboard like mathematics, I felt the soul was missing in the songs. It could be because he was too young. Hope he focuses more on that. When he is playing a piece on the keyboard, it should be playing in his heart a beat upfront.

Brother, high time you understood the pulse of the current generation and made music accordingly. You are living in some dream world. Music is NOT imitating others' tunes. Make your own! My view - go assist some other good music director for 2-3 years. Learn the nuances of the trade and pulse of the audience. And then, make your own compositions. You seem to be lost and I really don't think your dad is helping you in any way. It's pathetic to see such great talent getting wasted by 'proudly' making some road orchestra imitation stuff. Mark my words, if you continue making such imitating music like a parrot, no director or producer will approach you. First learn. You've learnt the craft from Raja and ARR. Now, learn the art. Learn under another musician humbly. You will go places. Have huge expectations from you. Still not given up on you. Give me a beautiful original composition soon!
