How does donating money to charity save you money? You pay a percentage of taxable income as taxes. If I donate 10k to charity, I save myself $500 in actual paid taxes? That sounds like taking poison to cure a cold.

You set up the charity, then donate to it. You have control of what that 10K will do and still get 10K excempted from your coming income tax. Also the charity is required by government to spend 5-15% of donations and the rest can be used as salaries and to run the charity. The donations can include sponsorship for your corrupt political friends and their children, medical expenses, property acquisition etc and still be called a philanthropist

Last year I had a regular job and received a good refund due to the expenses I incurred for my startup business. This year I went fully into my startup, with no other income. but I still have lots of business expenses. Will I still get a refund of those expenses? Thanks!

like to hire you but need to get the rentals first here’s my situation wife works makes 55k a year I would like to invest in Realestate to be a Realestate professional. Do I need a LLC for 1 rental ?rather not until I have at least x5,let’s start from scratch can I just make a lease and put under regular home ins Umbrella policy until I grow and still claim loss on wife’s W2 ?
