These clips were recorded by my neighbour in Burwood East (a Greek guy called John) in the late eighties in both Pelham and Bouverie Streets in Carlton. Please excuse the poor picture quality, poor recording technique and poor editing! The technology was in its infancy, and I simply made myself a copy at the time by putting two VCR machines together. Great memories of a bygone era!

dang dang well i was around and i don't think you missed much. Cunts were still cunts much as they are today and all the cars in this vid which are worth all these $$$$$s now were just cars. Some were better than others but mostly they were painfully boring which is why you had to modify them. If they weren't boring then they were new cars and we couldn't afford them. This is why the car hobby is becoming gentrified - everyone who couldn't afford a fast car then and can now, wants one.
