As someone who used to work vacation rentals: please quadruple check before you rent it that you can do this. A lot Airbnbs will not allow this due to liability.

Vrbo and other vacation rental companies (even independent ones) might be options too, don’t think you’re only limited to Airbnb. BUT one thing if you’re going out somewhere with a lot of outdoor space, check and see if you have to haul out your own trash. Many places don’t have a trash pick up service and some vendors might charge extra if they have to tote off more than a few bags of trash during your stay. Always ask about all the details you can possibly think of from the vendor, and write it down!! If the vendor says they’ll make an exception, get it in writing!

I had hidden cameras in my last airbnb. One directly facing the bed in the bedroom and one directly facing the shower in the bathroom. I discovered them when I was scanning the wi-fi for other devices. At first AirBnb was nice and let me leave and even refunded my money. However, they closed the case in the host''s favor. Not mine. It felt like airbnb did everything in their power to sweep it all under the rug. Luckily for me, I had filed a police report immediately following the incident. Now there is a large investigation into this particular airbnb host and many of the properties (yes, multiple.) My point is... be vigilant when you use an Airbnb. You might be filmed without your permission or consent. And from my experience, airbnb doesn't care and doesn't take these kinds of complaints seriously. Seriously, stay safe out there.

as a wedding caterer!!!! please inform us that it’s a airbnb wedding! if we don’t have access to a kitchen, most us work out of our vans/vehicles, which is very difficult.our business offers china service, some others do but not all of them. we ask that you don’t request china because it’s difficult to transport dirty china if we don’t have access to clean or accessible water!
