I've been playing guitar since I was 9 years old! I graduated from university in 2018 completing a BMus Popular Music Performance course and managed to get a First Class Honours degree! I dont think the Kiesel guitars are hand made manually, i think its factory sprayed but i might be wrong.

I've never seen anybody in any cover do the slide part even close to right, so you have impressed me as always. Also, this is more than a SHRED VERSION, with clarity, imagination, respect and fun. Sophie's quick, but doesn't lose the feeling between the notes...BRAVO!

The ORIGINAL version played by ALLEN is a "Shred version", this just happens to be Sophie's version, and she did a great job!! But remember back 50 years ago, Allen was one of the OG's of the shredding world, and he WROTE the shred.

I'm of an age to have made a recording of Lynyrd Skynyrd playing this on the Old Grey Whistle Test. I used my Dad's reel to reel tape recorder and had the microphone dangling in front of the b & w telly's speaker. We played that live set over and over. Never for one moment thought that 50 years later I'd be watching a young english woman playing it with such skill and passion. Great stuff.

Loyd or Lloyd is a Welsh name, like Jones, Williams, Burton/Burden...call her British, if you will . BTW,the Sur Richard Burton who married London-born Elizabeth Taylor (her real name).. twice! Didn't speak English until he was 11.

Speechless! Blown away! I'm definitely going to have to invent another word to describe what the die hard Lynyrd Skynyrd fan that I am feels when listening to this cover. Gary's sensitivity on the slide part that you almost never hear during covers and Alen's virtuosity. I'm sure from where they are now, they're cheering wildly. Nice job nicely done as always!
