I'm a 45yr old lady who goes to bed around 9:30... I stumbled upon this disturbed cover around 9 pm and here it is 2am and I can't stop listening to his songs!! Your video was "suggested" and I agree, this guy is INCREDIBLE! I don't even know 99% of the songs he has on his KZfaq, but I doubt the originals could have been as good as he is. Even my husband, who doesn't like anything, was completely blown away by the disturbed and the evanescence bring me to life songs. How is he (Dan) not crazy famous?

I think he figures what tame he gets on KZfaq is what he wants. Plus he has the freedom to choose for himself. He don't need to give some short fat guy some of the money he earns also

I love this song by Simon & Garfunkel (it's from 1964!), I more or less grew up with it. I prefer Dan's cover version to Disturbed's cover version. I find Dan much more emotional and get goosebumps every time I listen to it. Dan just has a fantastic voice and each of his songs is touching in its own way.

First song I ever heard by Dan, on 9/15/20, and each time now is just as powerful. Second song was Toss Coin To Your Witcher. Since tben, I've listened to everything else on his channel, and I truly love them all. His original music with his band Fearless is awesome, too. He was looking for a label at one point, but now, he enjoys the freedom he has in doing his music on his own. Check out his cover of Bohemian Rhapsody, Dawn Over A New World, Beyond Belief, Fairy Tale, et al. Even his early videos are great, and they show how far he has come. Great job on this reaction!

Great reaction! Dan really has a great vocal control and tone in his voice. Hi has many great metal covers but also softer beautiful songs including musicals, classic old rock and even operatic songs (Nessun Dorma is wonderful!). Hope to see more Dan soon!😊

Dan's metal band is Fearless. At present they only perform live in Brazil so I'm definitely grateful that he posts his original music and covers, along with opera and video game covers online!!!

He nails Nessun Dorma in Italian. It’s from the Giacomo Puccini opera Torandot. He covers opera, musicals, pop, rock, hard rock, and metal. Over 200 covers on his channel.

I never cared for this song until I heard Dan Vasc sing it. He sings it with passion, unlike the boring way it’s usually sung by other singers.

Originally, the Sound of Silence isn't a Disturbed song. It's Simon and Garfunkel, and Disturbed really changed the tone of it, so much that it feels like a different song.

I just saw you Mr. Just 10, for the first time. You had a very slow and thoughtful reaction to Dan's voice which is at the top of my list after viewing so much of his U Tube content for the past 7+ months. There are many great singers in the world but Dan Vasc is a One-of-a-kind Singer. He is so superb in so many genres and so creative with attention to every ddetail. He commands your attention with his highly-trained voice as you recognized. He deserves much praise and success for such excellence. Thank you for your reactions to him going forward. Dan Vasc is from Brazil, he is classically trained, he sings opera to heavy metal and everything in between. All his recordings and videos are done in his garage. He has over 200 video's to choose from, and none of them will disappoint.

Yes, well said... effortlessly sung, beautiful vocal color. Hard earned with hard work. It paid off. There isn't a single Dan Vasc song that isn't absolutely good, fantastic, great, magical. Amazing Grace, Phantom of the Opera, Manowar, Helloween and and and 🤘🤘🤘♥️

I like him too. Have you heard his metal version of DANGER ZONE? There is a singer you should look at who did 3 songs on BGT and AGT where he got the gold buzzer TOM BALL. The first two on AGT were too short so he has longer versions of both. This song and CREEP. The first one depicts people being pulled from the rubble, homeless, and tired doctors and the Creep one shows a school girl going to school. It has a happy ending. Very recently there was a video of the finals of BGT which has a grey cat puppet starting to sing LIVE AND NOT DIE and then Tom walks out on the stage to finish it surprising the judges. Tom does some crazy high notes on it. He says he has a album deal and that it will be coming out soon. Do see him first on BGT where he starts his musical journey and Simon says what if it doesn't work out so well.Tom made him eat his words.

I have to admit, growing up listening to Simon & Garfunkel, this was not my favorite song of theirs. I heard this cover for the first time, like you. Another song of Simon & Garfunkel's, "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is my favorite. John Legend does BTW I NEVER listen to Pentatonix. Why? Because they "cleaned up" Leonard Cohen's "Halleluiah." THAT is not a song to be covered, unless it is in it's original version.As a lyricist you can appreciate covers must keep to the original. Blessings. May I suggest a singer called TOM BALL? He did 3 songs on BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT and 3 on AMERiCA'S GOT TALENT.. Latest ones of his are of NOODLES a grey puppet cat. It starts to sing LIVE AND LET DIE and then Tom walks out on stage shocking the judges to finish it. He does a couple of crazy high notes in it. Please start with his appearance on BGT. Good old SIMON says what if it does not go so well? Tom made him swallow his words. There is a new video out that has more of him after he did LIVE AND NOT DIE which he has happy news on. It shows the finalists. Do like DAN a lot too, he Polish?

I was not thrilled with Disturbed doing this song. It is a sacred song for me, so while Disturbed did not ruin the song, it is a song that should have been left alone. Someone else copying Draymond’s take does not do it for me. This guy is talented. Very good singer.
