Lytle Creek: The Un-named trail near 3N06

9 ай бұрын909rado_zr2 told us he found a trail in Lytle Creek, off of 3N06, so we decided to check it out. We made it out pretty far, at nearly 7,000ft Wendy started to feel elevation sickness, and we ended up turning around.
This trail is moderate. As you can see our friend had a new stock taco with us as well. He did have the take the by pass of the little waterfall. But other than that he did great. It is a very rocky trail, with a few narrow points. Looks like a amazing spot for hunting season as well. I would recommend high clearance and 4x4 at minimum.

There are many trails up and over the mountains to the Wrightwood area and the desert. I have ( in the past) driven from Cucamonga canyon to lytle creek, then up to Mt.Baldy and back thru to Cucamonga canyon. Frankish peak too view the light's below.

its a old part of the trail they tried to close. it used to even go across the wash. There are old yellow post sites up in there as well.

I wanted to hike across the wash, and see if I could see sign of quail. Looks like a good area to hunt.

To get here do I just make a right at the end of the Stockton flats road (3n06)?

Yes, at the end before the closed gates.
