Matters that need attention:
1: This product supports the ssd defined by msata interface on mini pci-e. Msata is not the same as 1.8 inch micro sata. At the same time, this product also supports the conversion of solid state hard disk with m.2 ngff sata protocol to 2.5 inch sata interface. However, both types of hard drives cannot be used at the same time. If you insert two types of hard drives at the same time, you can only read one of them
2: There are three pin settings for the mini pci-e interface ssd. One is called msata, which is often found on lenovo and thinpad machines, and can also be called an intel defined interface; the other is called sata mini pci-e, which is commonly seen on asus epc and some tablets, also known as asus defined interface; and the other is defined by paw, which is an ide interface in essence, which is commonly seen in dell mini 9. wait for the machine. The three interface definitions look exactly the same and cannot be distinguished with the naked eye, so be sure to distinguish your ssd's interface definitions!
3: The m.2 ngff ssd has three protocols: sata protocol, nvme pcie x2 protocol and nvme pcie x4 protocol. This adapter card only supports sata protocol.

Observation:
This adapter card supports msata and sata m.2 ngffssd protocol, but cannot use both hard drives at the same time! Change to ngff to read m.2 ngff ssd, change to msata to read ssd msata. The adapter card only converts the interface form and does not change any performance

thank you. my order came in first before i found this video. i run my nvme m.2 b/m on pcie2 x1 because my motherboard dont have a x4. sata3 is much faster than pcie2 x1. i ordered one of this today with enclosure for around 3usd. i want those extra 100mbps speed from sata3.

Hi, i purchased these days from ebay the same adapter like U have,M.2 ngff msata ssd to 2.5 ''adapter sata3.0, but I use together whit an sata to usb adapter. I used these rig while my m.2 sata just died inside the laptop at work (I made a 5 min break and when I returned to desk blue screen...:( ......) and I wanted to be sure is the m.2 itself or the motherboard of laptop faulty. As I have no other m.2 to try I am not sure if my new adapter is ok.Question is: are all 3 leds(conn ,active, power) from the board needed to work ? I have only active and power leds working on mine when fired up, and switch from board is set to ngff...U are useing inside laptop and is completly other side mounted so not able to see those led`s in your video :( . THX!!!

i have 2 slot 2.5 and 1 nvme(2280) but i only use 1 2.5 . and now i wan to use my nvme slot to egpu 16x and change nvme to 2.5 slot do i need cloning my nvme (my primary storage) ?
