@WeightliftingHouse It has been 30 years since Czechoslovakia split into two separate countries Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. Love your content, but being a Czech myself this hurts.

I think its just because in the uk a lot of the maps we have in schools are pretty old and still have Czechoslovakia on them, at least mine did, and it kind of gets ingrained in your brain despite being told otherwise

I’d like to know what criteria Seb uses when he identifies someone as a snatch specialist or jerk specialist. Marino had a lousy day in the snatch missing everything in front and bombing. But before he did Seb said he was a snatch specialist and mentioned bests of 124 and 157. That is 79%. I know there are more good snatchers than jerkers but 79% seems to be a pretty reasonable ratio.

Maybe Marinov needs more shoulder flexibility for the Snatch. No excuse to putting the weight on the groove to loose forward afterwards.

43:35 - 10 lifters and only 3 successful 3rd attempt snatches. 1:09:13 - Yikes, the skin on his neck looks very unhappy. 1:35:39 - 6 of 10 successful 3rd attempt C & J's, much better.

Dude, Czechoslovakia doesn't exist anymore, for 3 centuries. It´s mainly the two separate nations Czech Republic and Slovakia, nowadays.

@@jmcsquared18 This championship was held in the city of Yerevan, which is in Armenia. There has been a long history of mutual hatred between which goes back centuries and continues to the present day.

@@tjbanvillemutual hatred is an understatement. Turkey commited an Armenian Genocide and tried to wipe it from recent history.
