ജനവികാരംകൊള്ളസംഘമായകോൺഗ്രസ്സിനെതിരെ ഇപ്പോഴും അതിശക്തമാണ്. അതുതരണംചെയ്യാൻ ഇനിയുംഒരുമുപ്പതു വർഷംകൂടി ആപാർട്ടികാത്തിരിക്കേണ്ടിവരും. അതായത് ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ തലമുറമാറിഅടുത്ത തലമുറവരേണ്ടിവരും. ശശിതരൂരിനും ഷാനിപ്രഭാകരനും എത്രസ്വപ്നം വേണമെങ്കിലുംകാണാം. പക്ഷേനടക്കാൻപോകുന്നില്ല.ശശിതരൂരിനെപ്പോലൊരുബുദ്ധിജീവിക്കു ബുദ്ധിവികസിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത "കുട്ടിഗാണ്ടി"യെഉയർത്തിക്കാണി ക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്നതു ഒരുഗതികേടു തന്നെ.

തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തു നിന്നും ലോകസഭയിലേക്ക് വിജയിച്ചു പോയ താങ്കളുടെ ഈ മണ്ഡലത്തിലെ സംഭാവനകൾ എന്തൊക്കയാണ് എന്നു വൃക്തമാക്കിയാൽ നന്നായിരുന്നു എന്റെ അറിവിൽ കുറെ ഹൈമാസ്റ്റ് സോളാർ വിളക്കുകൾ. താങ്കളെ പോലെ സതൃസന്ധനും മറ്റ് അഴിമതി ആരോപണങ്ങളും ഇല്ലാത്ത തും ,നല്ല കാരൃങ്ങൾ ആരു തന്നെ ചെയ്താലും അംഗീകരിക്കുന്ന വൃക്തിത്വത്തിന്റെ ഉടമ സ്വന്തം പാർട്ടിയിൽ നിന്നു തന്നെ എതിർപ്പുണ്ടായാൽ തന്നെയും തന്റെ തീരുമാനത്തിൽ ഉറച്ചു നില്കുന്ന വൃക്തി താങ്കളുടെ ചിന്താഗതിക്കനുസരിച്ച് പ്രവൃത്തിക്കണമെങ്കിൽ താങ്കളൂടെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ രാഷ്ട്രീയം കൊണ്ട് ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് യാതൊരു ഫലവും ഉണ്ടാകാൻ പോകുന്നില്ല.

മറ്റു സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ കാര്യം വിടാം, കേരളത്തിലെ മുതിർന്ന നേതാക്കൾ ഇദ്ദേഹം കെപിസിസി പ്രസിഡന്റ് സ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് മത്സരിച്ചപ്പോൾ വോട്ടുചെയ്തില്ല എന്ന് മാത്രമല്ല, എതിർ സ്ഥാനാർഥിക്കുവേണ്ടി വോട്ടുപിടിക്കാൻ പോയി. ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഈ പാർട്ടിയിൽ തുടരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു കാര്യമായ പ്രയോജനം ഒന്നും ഉണ്ടാവാൻ സാധ്യത ഇല്ല.

Isn't it a shame that Rahul Gandhi can be a prime minister candidate just because of his last name? What has changed since the last election in the congress party. Same Gandhi leader, same candidates, chosen by Gandhi family. Why cant Indian people have a congress party without the Gandhi family? Hopefully somebody educated and experienced like Mr. Tharoor should lead from the front, not junior Gandhi.

Shashi Taroor is a man of letters , a great historian, a brilliant orator but a very incompetent politician. Name one achievement that he has accomplished for Trivandrum that isn't associated with a central government program. None. Flying down from to Trivandrum i still see open, infested drains, heaps of waste strewn all around dilapidated footpaths and crumbling infra. Proficiency in a foreign language doest stand testimonial to the capability of a politician.
