Mourola Macher Bati Chochchori is very popular Bengali Fish recipe making with Small fishes. It is one of the famous Grandmother recipes. If you love village food then must try to cook this fish curry. It is very delicious tasty mouthwatering dish.
Ingredients:
Mourola Maach / Indian Carplet Fish - 200 gm
Sliced Potato - 1 piece of big size
Chopped Onion - 1 piece of big size
Turmeric Powder
Red Chilli Powder
Black Cumin Seeds
Slitted Green Chilli
Mustard Paste
Chopped Coriander Leaves
Salt
Mustard Oil
Methods of how to make Mourala Macher Bati Chochchori:
1. At first take a kadai.
2. Add 2 tbsp. Mustard Oil in the kadai and spread evenly.
3. Add 1 big size Sliced Potato Indian Carplet Fish.
4. 1 big size Chopped Onion, 4-5 Green Chillies (as per taste), 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder (as per taste), 1/2 tsp Black Cumin, 1 tsp Turmeric Powder, Mustard Paste and 3 tbsp. Mustard Oil.
5. Mix all the ingredient's properly.
6. Add 1/2 tsp Salt and mix well.
7. Then add little bit water.
8. Now turn on your oven and close the lid. Cover and cook for 10 mins on medium flame.
9. Check after 10 mins and again cover and cook for another 15 mins.
10. Add Coriander Leaves on top.
11. Then cook for another 2 mins on high flame and it will be ready. After 2 mins turn off your oven.
12. Serve it hot with hot Rice.
