Every now and then I get to try a piece of gear that is outstanding.
The M-EQ Driver by Origin Effects is one of the coolest guitar pedals I've ever used. Its ability to dial the exact personality to front end of your tone is amazing. It's subtle where it needs to be and aggressive where you want it to and everything in between.
I feel I haven't even scratched the surface with its potential working with other overdrives or preamps.

To install them on your katana mkii, the easiest way is to drag the downloaded files to your desktop.
Open up the tone studio with your katana connected and go to the top right corner and click the down arrow. Locate your file and it'll bring it into your library where you can drag them across to the katana :)

I have this pedal and I have to say this is the best pedal I own by far. I have the revival drive compact and the hot Rod version which are great. But this one is at another level, insane tones.

You always haves interseting clips! This pedal seems to gives you all the textures and shapes of the old 80's thrash Metal of that era. Exodus, Anthrax and the old Metallica riffs you played are spot on! Especially the Kill'Em All songs, it's sound as the same as Metallica when they used Marshall amps in their beginning! Good Job Buddy 🤘😵‍💫🤘

can you please make a video using a nux amp with the included app? they're amazing for the price and you can even share presets all within the app on your phone! but there aren't many people that make metal tones with it so i was wondering if you could do one if i ask nicely🥺.

You think the m-eq would work well with a plexi style amp for early Judas Priest sounds? I know they used treble boosters, but the noise that comes along with those is difficult to deal with when playing in smaller rooms.

I’ve got a plexi on the way so I’ll be sure to test an old priest tone. I would say if you’re after the more aggressive painkiller tone you’ll need a little more than this on its own. Through the 800 it’s bang on
