After watching this, I actually used the first takedown against the cage during our Mma wrestling practice. So thank you for posting the video!

good for muay thai clinch throws with minor modifications. MMA too ! no leg grabbing or floor diving needed.

+Chirping Hockey Player I would guess from what you have told me that you are not stepping in deep enough. Try that and see how it works. Also, look where you are locking-high or low. If your opponent is tall I would lock low and vice-versa. Thank you.

what's wrong with body locking them low?? doesn't that open up many sweeps and trips? you could pick him up and sweep out the legs, or fold em and trip them. not saying your wrong just wondering why a low body lock is bad!

+Quinn Giles On the video there are 2 options: Bodylocking high and low. Watch through the whole video. I talk about the 2 different options based upon your opponents' height. Both options are good. Thank you.

He meant don’t lock them in the middle of the torso (which isn’t controlling the shoulders or the hips).

Not a street fighting technique you will injure yourself if you do this on anything other than a mat so be sure to let go after the takedown and just drop an elbow on them
