This course was tight and this ground was not the cleanest. Oil slicks and thick painted lines made traction limited on certain sections of this course, especially in the first half of the course. Also, as the temperature rose, I started to feel that the tires needed to drop a little psi but I didn't have time to adjust the psi. Tires felt a little firm once temps got higher and that didn't help things as far as grip. So for me, the focus was not trying to ram through the race. Instead, the focus was on flowing, being extra light and being SMOOTH. Once again, I finish on the tail of J.B.
Close race!
Next time you guys see me, I hope to have a brand new, fully adjustable suspension from Race Tech. I think I have reached the limits of what I can do with the stock suspension. I have heard that getting a fully adjustable suspension and getting it setup correctly is a game changer. I am exceedingly excited.

I see James still favors 180s over 360s in his courses. Good run!

Great video. Very fun to watch the side-by-side. I won't ride in the streets of LA, but I'm tempted to get a bike just for this.

很棒的比赛!我是一个中国的gymkhana爱好者,很惊喜能看到日本之外地区的金卡纳比赛视频。希望能看到更多视频。我很好奇,gymkhana在北美的发展如何?A.C.S cup是商业化的比赛吗?

Greetings, my friend! Thank you very much for watching and for your comment. Here in North America, Moto Gymkhana has grown very slowly. People are more interested in dirt racing and track racing here. There are very few good Moto Gymkhana riders here and we are not at the level of Japanese riders. However, we continue to improve. I have been riding motorcycles for 5 years now and in another 5 years, I hope to be at the skill level of a good Japanese rider. Thank you, once again and take care.

I see your fingers on the clutch. When do you use it? Feathering during turns?
@LexcoMotoGymkhana
@LexcoMotoGymkhana 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. I cover my clutch at all times for safety reasons but I am only using it when starting and stopping. I do not use any clutch while turning. I use an overlap technique to constantly use the brakes and throttle at the same time but no clutch is necessary. Along with good technique, adjustments to the idle rate and gearing makes this possible. Thanks for watching :)
