Small note to everyone.. Best practices to avoid fire in house/flats. Kitchens - No False ceiling in kitchens. This decreasing room size. Always Sufficient windows and ventillation required in kitchen. No wooden or WPC almars near to gas stove. Main thing is plan for LPG cylinder out side. If no possibility atleast keep cylinder in kitchen in visible place. Don't put cylinder in an almars and don't close it with doors. Trust me, I'm also living in flat. I kept my cylinder outside to kitchen platform. I'm ok if cylinder is visible to everyone. Pressure Cookers - always use good condition cookers. Don't neglect single small repair to cookers. Keep changing the plastic belt and whistle kit to cookers. Fridge -Fridges contains flammable gas inside. So if possible don't keep fridge in kitchens. Keep in Dinning area or in Hall. Allow good air flow to all sides of Fridge. CO2 cylinders - keep fire extinguisher available in every home if not alteast place one in each floor.

srivani garu, Glad your family is safe. Use instant pot for rice cooking or any pressure cooking, instead of pressure cooker, it will turn off automatically after it is cooked. you dont have to watch and it is safe.
