4:00 I kinda dig that mechanic for tanks. EBRs should at least receive a speed debuff of at least 25%

I switched back and forth between the two guns several times to conclude that the supposed better rng and pen of the smaller gun never played out often enough to compensate for the lack of alpha damage. Missed many easy shots or didn't pen due to bad rng. And then would get bum rushed and overwhelmed when the reds realized I had the smaller gun with 240 alpha not being respected.

Oh.. and the drop round thing? It’s happening now on all vehicles. It started with the AE (1/7 rounds just fails) and now happens with my Skorp. I guess RU game expects RU made-ammo outcome!

Seeing my gunners drop more shots than before too. On all my tanks. They cranked up the RNG feels like. Not in a good way either.

You forgot that the 90 mm has higher pen on both standard and premium ammo (223 vs 208 standard and 290 vs 245). The 90mm also has more shell velocity with standard rounds than the 105.

Good one.The equipment upgrades and skill level of your crew is pretty important. In other words spend money and your gaming experience will improve. Desire to play decreasing as time goes on.

So far, at my 5th battle with this tier 8 I'm not finding it so consistent like the tier 7. But I encounter tier 9 now so... I'll play some more

I didn't try the Yoh tanks so far, although I have the premium one from the lootboxes 🙄. Shame on me, there are a few tanks in my garage, that I haven't used yet.I am currently preferring medium tanks

THAT is the tank and gun combo for me! Can be a great sniper or played like in this video as long as you've got good company. Kinda sorta reminds me of my tier 5 T49 TD back in the day,with the crew multi-skilled after thousands of maps anyway. If I were to come back to play it would be for this,but then they would nerf it to hell and I would just quit again,lol,so I'll just stay out and make all you folks who "play right" happy. Claus is the only reason I care for WOT at all nowadays.

I find this tank very frustrating. Now and then you'll have this game where the stars align and you manage to get a ridgeline that perfectly hides your hull against opponents who aren't pushing you, and you get in a rhythm with that peashooter that just rips them apart. But more often, you'll get rushed by someone who pens your paper hull, and since this tank gets ammo racked by piercing glances, that dpm advantage just evaporates.

Clausman, I had a game when first playing it that went great. That was the last and only game I liked in this POS. Maybe if it got preferential matchmaking. Spot on about the EBR mechanic. So I wonder if I had switched to the 90 mm would’ve matchmaking been more fair?

If i use the little pipi, i always get in a game where i am bottom tier. When i use the big pipi, i am top tier. I hate the MM!

Thats why I'll never go down this line. Not a fan of being forced to use the little gun to do well. I'm not a little pee pee kind of guy.

This tank always felt like a better armored, higher p/w Caernarvon with a weaker gun to me. Then again, the Caernarvon is my favorite Tier 8 tech tree heavy so I can't say I dislike this tank. In fact I'd say it's one of the better T8 heavies in the game.

Pretty sure nanfoodle was using turbo, rammer and vstabs, which is how I play mine. Gun handling with the 90mm is still pretty trollish; dispersion whilst moving and traversing is only slightly better than the Bisonte and Emil 1, but worse than an IS3 or T32. It is actually the same as the 252U or Defender. Still not a bad tank overall.

Most tech tree lines now are lucky to have 1 tank that is actually fun to play. This is nothing new...but power creep and OP prem tanks have made most tanks older than a few years obsolete.

@@ambientlight3876 premiums seem to be the only tanks that are somewhat competitive against the ridiculously overpowered Russian tanks. WG’s balancing system is ass backwards. They seem to “balance” tanks to make lower tier tanks more competitive. This is okay until you hit tier 7, when your tier 7 med or heavy, that is modeled so tier 5 tanks can still compete against it, is now going up against tier 9 tanks that have them so outclassed that they have very little chance of success. Premium tanks seem to be the only tanks left that don’t get ruined in this “balancing”

The guns and armor on this line needs to be reworked... 1. Both guns need a better pen. 2. The light gun needs a higher rate of fire. 3. The cupolas need better armor. Right now I see little use for this tank compared to tanks like the T-32...

Are you using the smaller gun? Way better. Use that. It’s a great tank. Shoot them twice or even three times for every time they shoot you. Hardening, bond vents and rammer is my set up.

I never shoot gold, so i always use the gun with highest regular ammo pen. Accuracy is also nicer.

I dont EVER have rng like the last guy had that was using the smaller gun. He was hitting g damn near every single shot. If there is 1% of the aiming circle not on the target then that is where it will go. It will miss if there is any chance to. I hate rng, it's such bullshit. It's never on my side lol, rng is the most bogus thing ever created

The first half of the second battle he was spamming the HEAT. Also many of his enemies never even looked at him or shot. It does show how fast the smaller gun can shoot. When the tier 9 and 10 tanks are not good it tells you the whole line isnt good. What's the point of grinding up?

Thank you. I completely agree. This tank is fine and can work great - as all tanks can - but is in no way a shining beacon like it is made out to be by some (unicum) players. On a side-note: Isn't it just (not) funny how the second player barely scratched profits even though he had a very rare game in the winning team. The economy of WoT is busted.

I couldn't make this tank work in 35 games, even with bond equipment. I like the tier 7 M-II-Y (T7) way better.

Claus at 1:08 "Oh, Fuck Me!" Pretty much sums up my experience with WoT after almost 10 years playing. Terrible RNG, rigged MM so games end quickly often seeing your team down 5 tanks and 4 - 5K HP in 3 minutes, and let's not get started on our team members.

Plagued by that kind of shell rng no matter what tank I play, I've been in my ferdinand and the 128 has consistently bounced paper it's maddening to shoot tanks like the hellcat in the hull flat on and it bounces. I've been in my jge100 and point blank shot leopard tanks and pounced............. That kind of shell behavior is normal to me.

I have found that the 'group think pro or good players' on youtube like to promote certain tanks without much detail or strategy, especially using the bond or bounty equipment. so thanks for the detail Claus. when you see the 'group' promoting a tank, it is typically a pile of garbage for average or casual players. no babies on this channel.

@@gz3582 Tier 8, progetto 54 or vk 100.01 p, 54 for hulldown, and 01 P for tanking shots and doing decent damage back. tier 6 vk 36.01, or OI. Since almost anything can work at tier 6, and you can play the vk any way you want. Those will give you your best chance to win, being an average player. The tier 6 in this line is pretty good and as stated the tier 8 is a beast, just don't show your lower plate.

WoT has turned into a real shitshow with way too fast tanks and these "special" physics as you mentioned. EBR`s are still shit. Got rid of WoT earlier this year and I wont return. So far Mr.Kellerman offers way much more entertainment!

But Claus you always say to use the bigger pee pee over the little pee pee ! Maybe you need little blue pills for the big peep pee as it had a droop in it's length ? BUT French tanks are Best , Pierre knows . Did like your idea on the cockroaches ( EBR's ) will it take off , Naar Wargaming like imbalance especially if it's Russian way .

Well Claus, when you think about it - this paper tank has a basically invulnetable turret. So there is no need to pull back after a shot like in an E100 or E75 - just stay there with max DPM and better pen. The friggin turret is the problem here... No weakspots. Thanks WG 🤮
