Well explained brother. I have driven Baleno AMT petrol , you know it has both Automatic and Manual. If you want to overtake in highway you can always switch to Manual gear + / - which acts like usual manual gear. AMT is budget friendly Automatic for people to buy their first Automatic car. CVT is in Honda cars and i did test drive in Amaze CVT and its somewhat better than AMT with min rubber band effect. DSG is in Skoda and VW , where the price goes up due to technology and more no of gears. DCT is mainly used in Hyundai , KIA engine. There is one more gearbox you know its iMT - Intelligent Manual transmission , where you have manual gears 1 to 5 + 1 R but no clutch, it is fun to drive. Automatic cars less than 1 ltre engine will lack power for sure. Fuel comparison - Definitely it depends on riding style , its like getting 60+ milege in Hero honda splendor bike 100 cc engine with manual gear and getting 40+ in Honda Activa scooter with same 100 cc engine auto gear. :)

I'm driving more then 15 year's Automatic car , i never feel bad because i knew how to drive the Automatic car very well . May be lower c.c engines was not performing well i don't knew because I'm not driving that . Im using Toyota cars only. I have 2 cars fist car i buy in 2012 I'm driving that car more then 190,000km then i buy another car in 2022 in same brand in Toyota RAV4 2021 model it's very good performance .. Brother my request, please drive more than 2000cc engine and give me the feedback As your subscriber request.!

If you are in Chennai or any metro politian city close your eyes and buy automatic. Anywhere else go for manual. Because there are just too many cars in metro cities causing hours of traffic which makes manual too difficult to drive
