My Mother makes amazing Liver and also Mashlakai Daal. Two of these dishes are my favourite. So sharing the recipe with you...
For Boiling Liver:
Liver: 400-450 gm
Salt: 0.5 tsp
Turmeric: 0.5 tsp
For Main Cooking:
Cinnamon: 2 pcs
Cloves: 5-6 pcs
Cardamom: 4 pcs
Bay Leaves: 3 pcs
Garlic Paste: 1tsp
Onion Paste: 2 tsp
Ginger Paste: 1 tsp
Turmeric: 0.5 tsp
Coriander Powder: 0.5 tsp
Cumin Powder: 0.5 tsp
Chilli Powder: 1.5 tsp
Salt: To Taste
Kashmiri Chilli Powder: 1.5 tsp (Optional)
Fried Onion: 0.5 cup
Fried Cumin & Cardamom Powder: 0.5 tsp
For Mashkalai Daal:
Mashkalai Daal: 200 gm
Onion: 2 small size
Garlic: 3 cloves
Chilli: 5-6 pcs
Bay Leaves: 2 pcs
Cinnamon Stick: 1 pc
Turmeric: 0.5 tsp
Salt: To Taste
Chilli: 4-5 pcs
Oil: 2 tbsp
Fried Onion: 0.5 cup
Cumin: 1-1.5 tsp
