টাঙ্গাইলের ঘাটাইল উপজেলার গারো বাজারের পাশের গ্রাম শাপলা পাড়া। এ গ্রামেই জন্ম এ বি সিদ্দিকের। ১৯৮০ সালে স্বল্প পুঁজি নিয়ে শুরু করেন মিষ্টি বানানো। ফেরি করে বিক্রি করতেন সেসব মিষ্টি। ধীরে ধীরে সুনাম ছড়িয়ে পড়ায় ১৮ বছর পর স্থায়ীভাবে ব্যবসা শুরু করেন গারো বাজারে।
