I was so impressed when I first saw them at Sanremo and then Eurovision. But as an American, now an Italian citizen living in Florence, I am THRILLED that they broke through in the American market. It is extremely difficult to nearly impossible to do and many great Italian artists have tried. But they are so damn talented and deserving!

@@latabernadibacco420 il mercato statunitense è così chiuso proprio perché cercano “un prodotto”. Tanta gente se lo meriterebbe di entrarci, ma NON SI PUÒ NEGARE che nei Må, gli USA, hanno trovato qualcosa di più della sola musica. Qualcosa di molto vendibile. Ti ci fanno entrare se vogliono a priori, il merito assoluto non basta. A me non me ne frega niente se piacciono o meno all’estero. Non lo trovo questo gran valore aggiunto - anzi, si sa che è un grosso rischio. Vedremo nel lungo termine. All‘estero adorano Al Bano & Romina, tanto per dire. E tanti italiani non avevano semplicemente voglia di diventare internazionali, tipo Giorgia, la quale (legittimamente) non aveva voglia di sbattersi ed adattarsi come ha fatto per esempio la Pausini. E poi ci sarà sempre chi critica, chi è invidioso, e chi starnazza “sono tutti invidiosi”!

Agreed. I love some of the uptempo songs like moriro da re and of course zitti e buoni but the slower ones are really beautiful too like vent'anni, coralie, la parole lontane etc.

Sono stati loro che poi con determinazione, hanno continuato a far parlare di loro fino ad arrivare a Sanremo, e poi il resto é storia. Ci sono molte persone che sono passate per xfactor e poi finite nel dimenticatoio. Comunque sia non puoi dire che loro non si siano fatti da soli.
