I agree, they've got an exceptional skill to convey emotion, not only vocally but instrumentally. I'll quote from the band's explanation in Spotify: "The song depicts a conversation with the devil, making a deal with him in the verses and pre-chorus, specifying what he offers and wants in return. In the chorus we aim to break that pact, emphasizing that fame and money mean nothing without the people we love." The songs name comes from a neighbourhood in Rome, where this song was written in Thomas's home.

Hi, Uncle Momo. Great reaction, even more than usual. 🥰I agree with you, their ability to transmit and involve is that of great bands. It is a true story but, as he often does, Damiano transformed it into a story full of rather universal metaphors, given that they refer to the classics of literature. After the sudden global success, Damiano fell into depression and it seemed to him that the success they had fought so hard for had no meaning. That, in short, it wasn't worth the sacrifices they made and continued to be made. And so, in the song he talks about a pact with the devil, almost the usual pact: in exchange for talent, he will give his life and his heart. Then he realizes that it is too high a price to pay and breaks the pact. "Trastevere" was supposed to be only the provisional title of the song but, I must admit, that neighborhood is the perfect setting for this song.

I agree with you completely - for many is singing TECHNICAL, WITHOUT SOUL OR PASSION. And Maneskin has PASSION, which makes connection with listeners.

Yes, another Queen comparison. I first said that about 2 years ago when I discovered this band. Queen was the favorite band of my youth back many years ago. This band has the same potential, but this is a different era. Time will tell! Just like Queen, a great frontman, good musicians and songs that are masterpieces, and others that are just fun and silly.

You're spot on. Showing emotion is considered uncool, but emotion is such a great part of Damiano's voice and Thomas's guitar. They're truly an Italian band in that sense.

Ti ripeto le parole di Damiano lette in un post riguardo Trastevere che è un quartiere di Roma. Damiano dice: è stato il periodo più basso della mia carriera... tutti quei soldi...non valgono niente. Riporta il vissuto descrivendolo come l'incontro con il diavolo o il male che mentre passeggia a Trastevere gli propone il classico patto...

Write the hole Text in english, If You want to show, how it is pronounced....on the second syllable...I know....but not everyone is ,,italiano".....
