oooooh another one yihaaa! 😁 their coach was the guy with the long hair.. it's super hard to react to the things that are available on their youtube channel so yes the live are the best option and we have an amaziiiiing list for you ! do you want to discover them in chronological order or whatever?🥰 from before x factor you have videos of them busking in the street in rome or best of like "maneskin before fame" etc.. they look like puppies except damiano who already looked like and adult as a kid 🤣 after that you have all the x factor period it's fascinating to watch some good videos are" beggin" "somebody told me" "kiss this (it's a ssassy one ah ah ) "flow" (blues accoustic vibe) .. after you have the "teatro d'ira " you can find a lot of super nice video with subtitles (don't forget to activate them ) on a youtube channel called "lafabi as" because the italian songs are breathtaking when you understand the lyrics (damiano is a poet , without joking) .some amazing songs to look at are "vent'anni, le parole lontane, torna a casa, lividi sui gomiti (1live wdr) , in nome del padre (1live wdr) , amandoti, la paura del buio .. and after you have the rush album the live at "the stern show" are amazing..

I recommend you listen to their album Teatro d'ira first and then the album Rush, so as to see their growth.

I am always a little nervous when people from the UK watch Måneskin on X-factor or associate them with it, because I watched a documentary about the UK version of X-factor and it sounded like a very shitty show. I haven’t followed the Italian version either but I know some of the musicians who were in it and although the show is massively produced, music and talent is still valued a lot more in Italy. Also here it is considered very poor taste to make fun of people in a classist way so humiliating someone is a sure recipe for a tv program airing in the evenings to flop (unfortunately that isn’t always the case during daytime hours, but I can’t say for sure since I haven’t watched tv in ages). And singing ability and musical and talent are considered together with artistic choices and overall tasteful and yet sometimes very provocative performances. There is definitely another type of culture involved, so they used wisely that opportunity to get to be known on a national stage, but they already had formed their identity and had motivation coming from within them, which is something that separate real artists and musicians from “products” and “creations” by some pompous producer. The real stage, the definitive proof of success in Italy is the Sanremo music festival and winning that with a rock song and as a rock band is a very unique feat, much more difficult than the whole Eurovision thing. So that definitely proves that they just got something, that they can really achieve whatever they put their mind to do.
