This documentary is about the history and the old tradition of ghost marriage ceremony among the Chinese in Malaysia.

the first ever ghost marriage in the history of china was started by Cao Cao. his youngest beloved 12yo son (Cao Chong) died of illness. he arranged a ghost marriage for his son . according to historical records, 'he had Cao Chong buried together with a deceased woman from a certain Zhen (甄) family'

很多傳統過時的迷信都正在被淘汰中，古時候對於無法解釋的現象，總是喜歡用一些怪力亂神來解釋，但隨著科技進步，很多舊觀念、封建迷信都正在被破除當中，這些傳統習俗隨著社會大眾知識水準提升，必然會逐漸式微。 具體可以自己觀察一下這些廟方工作人員、陣頭、許多虔誠的信徒，他們大概都是什麼樣的教育水準即可知道，光從這部影片就可略知一二。 我認為身為一個具有現代科學素養的人，應當有認清現實與迷信的能力，我尊重不同文化，只要不要侵犯到他人即可。

我也这么觉得，现在都高科技AI时代了，请一个设计师来把他们照片p成会动的人，加上仿制死者的口音，合成婚礼现场刻进光盘，或传到手机里，死者父母结账后拿回家看，肯定比这个强很多，还有科技感，且还是完全可以实现的。
