Ingredients -
1 whole dry coconut
50 gram poppy seeds
50 gram almonds
1 tbsp White pepper powder
2 tbsp ghee
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Method -
Cut a round piece from the top of the dry coconut. Fill coconut with poppy seeds and almonds. Place the coconut piece on hole.
Cover the whole coconut with wheat flour dough. Seal all the ends properly.
Place a metal sieve on gas stove, roast on low flame from all sides till dark brown marks appears.
You can roast this coconut on village style coal stove too.
After roasting remove the coconut from fire, allow to cool. Remove dough from the coconut. Open the coconut and take out roasted poppy seeds and almonds from the roasted coconut. Chop coconut in small pieces. Add 1 tbsp white pepper powder. Mix all. Add in a mixer jar and grind in a powder form. Transfer prepared powder in a bowl. Add ghee and sugar powder, mix. Store in a jar. Take 2 tsp daily with hot milk in the morning.
