This charlatan of a bishop needs to be thrown out of the church or dismissed altogether. He was in Mumbai in the Santacruz parish and had his way on most things. The MarThoma Sabha is now going through a crisis with many clergy indulging in unconstitutional acts like spending on renovations and repairs of parsonages and other attached properties without getting the sanction of the general body or the approval of the diocesan bishop. These illegalities should never be tolerated and strict and immediate action needs to be taken to cleanse the church. The Metropolitan should resort to immediate dismissal or asking such errant clergy/ bishops to opt for VRS. Else we might come to a stage where the public outcry would be such that violence and premeditated acts of vengeance might occur if the laity do not find a resonance of their feelings echoed in the hierarchy. The tone for strict and immediate action against those indulging in nepotism and corruption must be such as to set an example for other established Christian denominations elsewhere in Kerala and around the world.

Ignorance leads to fear and fear leads to faith and faith leads to Organised Religious Cults, which is the best business.
