Bhai Ashraful .. what did you learn from the interview? Do you know now how can you change the status from b2 to immigrant status while you are in the US ? I didn't though. The only thing I heard is that Those Bangladeshi Associations in states will help you. But did he mention how? If it would be that easy, then why people turn illegal? Also, the best way to come to the USA is as a student and then change your status through work. or get married to US citizen. You can come here as a tourist and apply for Asylum, you will receive a work permit in 6 months, It takes a few years to resolve the case. But what happens they deny your case, you have to go back to BD. There is another way you can come to the USA, if someone in the USA has a business and can apply Labor certificate (Non-skilled worker) for you. It takes 2 - 3 years but can come to the USA as an immigrant. Hopefully, you learn more from my comment than this consultant. Good luck .................................................

You have to apply directly with the company and if the company likes you you will get the permit. The chances of that happening is 0.001%. Why would take a such a big immigration risk if you are not a lucrative employee for them?

@ Shaafiullah SM .. How can you get a work permit from B-2? That visa is only traveled purpose. You can't get a work permit from a tourist visa. The only way you can get a work permit is if you change your status. Either political asylum or Married to a USA citizen. All other categories You have to go back to BD before you can adjust your status.

First of all it is unlawful to advise someone to come to United States illegally. It is also in humane to advice someone to come here illegally and go through such uncertainty of life. When you come to this country illegally, if you’re not caught by the authority, you are still living your life in fear. You can’t get a job, businesses will not hire you, they will get fine if they’re caught hiring illegal at their businesses. Do you think businesses will take a chance on a random person that is illegal in this country and risk a fine of $10,000 and more in some cases. I don’t think so. If you get caught being illegal in this country they take you to a jail. There they can just treat you the way they want to treat you no one will come and object to it. You don’t have any rights in this country if you’re illegal. It’s like you’re nobody. You can’t call 911 if you get beat up in the street, you can’t get a lawyer if somebody runs you over in the street, your children are not given the best education, they’re just a classroom fillers. What’s there to be jealous about. Why should I be jealous of such a life? I am just simply warning people that if you choose to come to this country illegally no it’s like a death sentence.

@@ziniachowdhury7522 Sorry aunty for my initial response. Just to be clear you asking about you. I am thinking you have a B-2 visa( Tourist for multiple entries). From a B-2 visa, you can not change your status, means you can't be a permanent resident in regular way. The only two option is to married to a US citizen ( Not applied in your case) or to apply for political asylum. Otherwise, if any business owner applied for a labor cert(EB 3 .. Non-skilled-labor) you can be immigrant. You can adjust it from the USA, Its a 3 years process. Otherwise, your child has to apply for parents once he became a US citizen. Hopefully, That gives your answer.

just to add with Tasmia's answer... That's the best and easy option. There are 2 other option available. (1) Political asylum, but nowadays very hard to get approved through it. (2) EB3 .. Labor certificate .. A business can apply for you if they need any employee and not available in the USA. Takes about 3 yrs to approve. Good Luck..............

Just to chime in EB3 or EB2 has investment requirements. If you you want to know more then provide me with an email address I can send you some info since I work with clients from different countries who are in process of getting that visa.
