For some reason, the songs sound more sinister and dark without lyrics.

I could imagine a world ruled by the sheer power of Thäll. Creates the electricity ⚡️, creates the weather, breaks the Earth along new plate lines, creates life in the oceans 🌊 and fills the universe with a pervasive dark matter. Just leave it permanently on repeat!

41:34. This part is BULLETPROOF. They bring back that "sweeping" guitar riff, only an altered version of it. This couldn't be any more perfect. And then there's a break for intense vocal work right before it returns. A rare instance of repetition for Vildhjarta.

I do prefer the music with vocals but I had to come here to see this cool artwork! I don't think I've listened to anything else since October 15th.

Anyone pick up the beautiful sequence from 51:12 to 51:15 that one guitar note almost brings a major sounding atmosphere for a split second. Almost jazzy sounding. Fuck I love this band

A lot of critics of prog metal/djent say that it’s all just emotionless musician wankery. This album is proof that you can make something incredibly technical and off the wall yet still create a cohesive piece of art with substance.

Never noticed how awesome that breakdown from 8:02 - 8:50 sounded. The vocal version is so good, but underneath the vocals is that mesmerizing guitar part. Thall.

Clever to have it in black and white. I love the instrumentals and prefer them sometimes but the vocals do fill out the world and add color to it.

Hearing this I have to say: Vilhelm Bladin, you did an outstanding work on the vocals. Don't want to talk down this version as the instrumentals are amazing af, but this album was clearly written with vocals in mind and boy do they add to the experience. Lots of texture and aggressiveness missing without it. It's really interesting to hear the differences in the production here in parts that have vocals originally and those that don't, I'm sure this can be a big help for other Thall writers. Thank you so much again for this album, I'm really struggling to truly enjoy anything else since then.

Greatest accomplishment in music in decades

I've been a THALL fan since like 2010 but coming back in 2023, not only is Vildhjarta my all time favorite band, but THALL is my new favorite genre. Music hasnt been hitting the same way in the past years. I used to be an addict to metal and it finally got old. Came back to Vildhjarta in 2023 (espesically with the new release) and it hit all the spots that were missing in music for me. Thank the THALL gods. Hoping for a new EP soon!!

The artwork on all versions of the albums and singles are IMMACULATE.

This is so fckng modern, interesting, fresh, heavy and lyric... Great music, great sound, great songs structure, production! How we are lucky living at the same time!

Fuck yes! When I discovered them in 2005 I was blown away. They band managed to be "Original" in a "now" huge Giant Sea of "Djent". THALL!!!

I have a hard time connecting with lyrics, and dont get me wrong, i love vildhjarta with vocals, but sometimes hearing the instrumentals really opens up that heavy ambience. And that makes it so easy to let go of so many feelings i have bottled up inside.

I've always enjoyed Vildhjarta's music quite equally with and without vocals and cherish their idiosyncratic attitude of continuously releasing both versions.

Since Sewerslvt had to say goodbye I found solace in your music and I think I will spend my next months analyzing this piece of art. Oh man that ending hits hard with the artwork as it fades.

I must say, I miss the clean vocals more than I would like to admit. Especially on Kaos2... This is such a beautiful album...

The absolute difference between this and the vocal version are so well clear in feeling. The sounds you pick up from this version really change the whole feel. Alot of it was so calm and spacey. It's so hard to describe the feeling. It's just amazing

Why havnt these guys blown up and got the recognition they deserve in this oversaturated market for "Djentish" style bands through the last 15-20 years. Back in the day, I remember their being Misha(Bulb), ASL, Tesseract, and Obviously Meshuggah.

Can someone solve the mistery (to me at least) that happens in Passage Noir at 28:33? Does the guitar riff actually slows down a lot in tempo or it's just another polyrhythm trick that happens because of the drums?
