Good job video at the start of your project M1240A1 M-ATV, Steve. Have fun when your vehicle takes shape! Since it is a beautiful, detailed kit, this will lead to a great model. Have fun with it and a great weekend. Greetings, Joachim

Hi matey, yes I've seen the new M-ATV. I would like to get another of these as the one they've released comes with two marking options, one is the US and second is a Polish one. I thought I'd do a Rosomak and the Polish version of M-ATV in a Afghan dio. I've seen quite a few of the new Ryefield kits. They did a resin figure set for one of their releases but its escaped me which one. Anyway , I've always been a Tamiya man and Takom, but Ryefield is defo up there. I said Tamiya is a longtime favourite of mine but I'm truly disgusted with the price of their new 48th Phantom. I truly am. I mean the two Tomcats were pushing it with me. I'll leave it there Mukka or I'll be driving you to Suicide with my Ramblings. Ha hope you and family are all healthy and safe matey

Hi matey, thank you so very very much. I've struggled a wee bit these last few weeks with ptsd and this has crumbled my mojo. I now have the aftermarket resin radio set which I've been kindly sent. I'm hoping to do another update this week. Thank you very much for your kind words. Hope you and your family are staying fit, healthy and virus free. Please stay safe buddy

Hi Sean, thank you very very much for the kind comment. I'm just sorry there isn't anymore updates at the minute. My mojo has just buggered off completely. Hopefully soon I'll get back on it. On Monday I had a lovely surprise from my mum as I have been doing a few bits for her, jobs etc and she got the Rye field, Challenger 2, that's just been released. She also got me the rye field aftermarket photo etch set for it to. ( I really hate photo etch) ha ha ha. Anyway it's an extra challenge. Thank you again for your comment and support for the channel. You know I've had several people moan about me showing all that first. I've had more good comments than bad but it doesn't half annoy you sometimes. I've always wanted to do a build along and with being former services I love modern era themed vehicles etc. I do love a lot of the World War 2 themes. But my passion really is World War 2 onwards. I've always loved these Mraps. My first ever Mrap was the Meng Cougar and after completing that project, I was hooked on Mraps as they are beasts. In fact I bought another one last year I loved it that much. I did the same with the Meng Bradley. I love Tamiya and Takom kits which I openly mention several thousand times on my channel and we all know just how good Tamiya Kits are,. Well I still say to this day that, that Meng Bradley kit is simply the best kit I've built. No fit issues, wonderfly accurate and a real enjoy to build. That kit was the M3A3 Bradley which didn't have the interior so I bought the interior separate. When I bought it again I got the Meng Bradley kit that actually incudes the interior in the kit. I thin that, that kit is the M2A3 version. With this build along I wanted to start from the very first process I go through with a project. I keep feeling I'm such a slow builder but most folks say they enjoy it, they put it on whilst they are at the Cave. Hope you and your family are all well and staying healthy through these awful times. If you need anything at all advice, help etc etc then my email address is on the page on here that is the discription of what our channels are. Don't hesitate, to contact me anytime. I just ask give me a little time to get back to you. Unlike a few channels I could mention I do actually read every comment and reply with a proper answer not just a cut and paste, can't be arsed answer. It may take me a wee couple of days to reply or I may see it sooner. If I can't help mate I'm sure I can point you in the right direction of someone who can help. Right, I hope you haven't fell asleep but I like to give folks and proper answer as you guys have shown me the respect of watching and commenting so I'll show you the respect of taking time and try to help you folks. Anyway buddy, regards, stay safe. Steve

@@MottysMilitaryModels Hi Steve, thanks for taking the time to reply not many people do that. Hope the mojo comes back soon bud, I am just returning to the hobby after many years break and your channel among others is an inspiration and driver to get me back to the bench. Got my eye on a few Rye Field models and the Chally 2 looks amazing also quite fancy both the MRAP you are building and the M1 Assault Breacher Vehicle. Also fancy the Cougar and buffalo . . . . so so many choices!! I am ex forces also and tend to gravitate to the modern stuff although do enjoy WW2 era and dio's. Keep up the good work mate, never too slow just enjoy the experience. You are building for yourself and not others. Looking forward to the next updates when your ready mate. Stay safe, all the best. Sean

Hi Sean mate, I'll always reply, if of course the comment comes through on my notifications. A few folks from the KZfaq community have said some of the comments folks are giving on their channels aren't coming through on the channels notifications, they are going to their spam folders or folders that hold possible innapropiate content etc etc etc. Anyway yes I'll always reply, one of the things that annoy me is when you watch people's channels and they say how important and how much the subscribers comments mean etc etc etc then when you look in their comment section folsk have given a comment and the channels reply was " thank you" or simply one of those imoji things. Now that is basically a cut and paste answer which to me says I can't be arsed to read the comment and I'll comment on someone else's that has more subscribers or better known in the community or someone they know who will send them kits, accessories etc etc. I go by what my Dad thought me, Respect. You have shown me the decency and respect to comment so I'll show you the respect back by answering. I can understand if they have thousands of comments but I still think they should be replied to. There's one in particular that I don't comment on anymore as he has used me for kits, paints everything really then he gradually never replied or commented on any of my videos. That's fine but atleast reply to the comments I've made on your channel. You will gradually see this happen mate with th more of folks you watch. On the whole, our community is awesome and folks will do anything for you but you just have to watch out for that one or two that are in it for their own gain. If you need anything Sean anything at all please message, if I can't help I'm bound to know someone who can. I really thank you again for your kind comments, I didn't set this channel up for my own personal gain, I wanted to pass the wee bit of knowledge I have or gained onto the folks that watch or need some help. I don't know an awful lot but if I can just help that one person then I'm happy. I don't want any money, kits, paints etc etc for me I don't really mind having a few subscribers I set it up as I love this hobby and have done since my dad came home with an airfix 1/72nd spitfire. When I was 8 I think. We used to buy the 72nd scale figures and have little battles and used lego bricks to knock each others figures down. It was great fun. Anything you need my email address is in the discripion of what our channels are about. Honestly message me anytime. I may take a while getting back to you but I will always reply. Regarding your choices what your going to build next, I'd be cautious with a couple especially if your just getting back to it. That m1 breacher I have in the stash and a couple of friends have built it and they say its not for the faint of hearted. I think the others, to have their challenges but hey, you know your own talents etc and I'd always give it ago, even if it's being a pain. You can always pack it back away and come back to it in a few weeks, months, years whatever suits you as if you look after your stuff, it's will be there when your ready. I do love Rye field their manufacturing is second to none, the instructions can be a bit of a "where's that gone, where's that come from". But like I've said at the first episode of the Mrap build. If you read and study your instructions you can hopefully be ready for the mishap or worked around it or have a solution ready. Some mishaps you won't know until you come to that part. But that what our wonderful hobby is all about. If you want a few good builds to get you back in the flow of things I'd personally always go down the Tamiya front. You don't want anything that will sap your mojo. I'm struggling with that as you know. It will come back I'm sure. Ha ha fingers, hair, toes, legs, testicles...... Everything crossed. Ha ha. I've bored you long enough Sean, take care and stay safe to you and your family

Hi Chris, thank you very much for the kind comments, sorry for getting back you a wee bit late. I normally give folks several days to comment then I write back. I'm sorry I missed your comment as if there's any questions in my comments section I try to answer pretty quickly, so I'm very sorry I never saw this. Right, the scalpel is a swann and morton handle, number 3. I use these all the time, they are my favourite and most comfortable. I have big hands and a wee bit of arthritis in my knuckles but these are superb for me. The actual blade is a number 11 I believe. If your after any and can't get any let me know and I'll send you one of mine with some of the blades to. I apologise again Chris for the lengthy reply.
