1: twist rate same on A4 & m4 ie.1-7" 2: bullet velocity reduced ie.225-250 m/sec 3:no need of feed ramps for A4 burst mode 4: use Chinese fore end & but stock.they have nothing to do with the working of the gun...usa made r costly... 5:what is most important is spring & buffer weight... Spend 20000 on them & put orignal m4 spring (rs6000) buffer wt H2(Rs12000) Both r available brand new usa original. Dont use Chinese 6: workmanship is most important. Now days only few are masters in convertion in dara. 6: no noticeable change in accuracy 7:my m4 rifle converted from a4 with 14.5 " barrel now. Today gave .75" group at 25:yards using 62 gr green tip bullets With aim reddot m68 cco sight Hope i covered all answers.

Well, your information is semi-true, you missed a lot of points. Secondly, it depends on karigar k ap kis k through wo convert krty hain, I personally monitor everything myself jo k mai jnta hon k kaisy krna chahye. Thirdly, ramps are not necessarily needed in tri-burst rifles. Forth, it never loses accuracy, again as i said it depends on how you convert it, chinese guards ( quad-rails ) are as good as American, but if you look at the price there’s a big difference. Fifth, you ignored the Stock, weight, spring and buffer, which is way more important than the other things, you must need to use American stuff for it to keep your rifle for long term. The only thing that effects is the range which A4 is effectively shoot a target 550-650m, while when you chop the barrel, it reduces to 450-500. ❤

Yes bro, thank you for adding all that info. I could only add in this much because adding much more would take more time. But yet still, not everybody is as smart as you and knows as much as you that they can monitor themselves. Most people just buy a shortened version because it is short. Not because a good professional armorer has done the job. Also my main point was that if someone has an American rifle, why would they want to add Chinese stuff and mix it up just to make it look short or cool. Everybody can have their own opinion, and yes I will also do a video on buffer tubes and weight and springs of M4 and M16. But I am very happy for your comment and I would like to learn more from you in the future as well.

Brother the issues you mentioned can be taken care of, if you have access to a good machinist and even crown can be made with a simple process with a crown tool and you can convert an m16 barel into m4....the only thing that matters and why a barrel should never be cut, its the twist ratio, m4 with 14.5 inch barrel has a twist ratio of 1:7, whereas m16 barrel has a twist ratio 1:12, but that too depends, if you cut the barel from 20 inches to 14, it means, with a twist ratio, 1:12, the bullet would turn one and half circle before exiting and when cut into 14.5 inch size, the turn would a jus a little over 1 circle..... twist ratio matters for accuracy and stabilization....so that barrel would severely diminish its accuracy.....

True that. However, M16A2 and M16A4 come with twist rate of 1:7. Only M16 and M16A1 (I think) had a 1:12 twist rate. You are also correct that a good armorer can do the conversion better, but how many people in Pakistan care to get their rifle barrels shortened in a scientific manner? My video is about the generic trend of buying larger rifles converted into shorter carbines by unprofessional people, and the result is not very impressive.

@@SkinnyGunner if the twist ratio is same for both 14.5 and 20 inch barrels, then cutting the 20 inch barrel by a professional and using a crown tool, it will get you the same performance of a factory m4 barrel....but I appreciate your efforts..keep it up

The main issue in barrel is of cycles. If we cut a2 barrel , barrel will have less cycles for bullet so in result it will loose accuracy.

Please make a video on locally made clones and steel type they use for making barrels, receivers and bolts etc. Specially for rifles. And why our local manufacturers are still unable to use proper grade steel to make quality weapons.

Shortening m16 barrels causes problem is stablising the bullet in air due to differences in twist rates of 20 inch vs 16 inch barrel. So i believe is not a good idea to convert it.

Sir original and most critical thing is crown and gas adjustment. I have tried many gun smiths in Dara they even don't know about crown. That's why shortened guns in Dara make key holes in target

When they chop down the barrel they have to redrill the gas port hole, which without proper equipment may b an issue of concern. However with ak pattern rifles local gunsmith are pretty comfortable. But they don't even know what the crown is

Bhai aik baat ki samajh nahi aye, m16 ki jo upper body me feeding ramps nahi hoty aur yeh orignal condition me firing me missing nahi karta, toh phir barrel ko convert karne se kyun missing karega ? Halankay m4 aur m16 dono ki magazine bolts etc sub kuch almost same hy . Bhai issue is liye aa sakta hai kay M4 ki short barrel ki waja se cycling ka rate fast ho jata hai. Zyada issue ae ga Full Auto ya Burst fire main. Semi-Auto fire main issue ni hota itna aur har wakt bi ni hota.

@@SkinnyGunner actually i want to have one but the prices are too high i.e. 900k approx for a colt assembled m4a1 brand new. I have russian and chinese AK's and different imported handguns like canik, glock gen 5, 30 bore tt and taurus pt 92 etc but no m4 yet...☹️

Brother you have conveyed good knowledge, Also i am m16 lover,few years ago this mistake done by me ,like conversion of m16a2 to m16m4 gave me rate of fire higher than initially was in it Barrel loosing problem from upper receiver, Rusting on cutts areas etc Finally i sold in same price,but got lots experience, Now i have m16a1 Colt,,,, Please make a vedio about m16 a1 , original Chinese ak47spiker Best regards respect from Sindh Pakistan
