It is not for nothing that many experts and journalists compare the invincible Movsar Evloev with Khabib Nurmagomedov or Fedor Emelianenko.
Before that, Movsar had a long and glorious career in the M-1 Global promotion, where he debuted and blossomed as a top fighter, going through ten fights. With each fight, Evloev demonstrated his versatile technique, incredible physical strength for his weight, some simply fantastic endurance and excellent tactical training. All together allowed him to dismantle one opponent after another. But the most difficult test for him was the final, tenth fight, after which Movsar signed a contract with the UFC.
This happened at the M-1 Challenge 95 tournament, where Evloev defended the M-1 Challenge champion belt. His opponent was the very talented Brazilian fighter Rafael Diaz, by that time well known to Russian fans thanks to his victories in the M-1 Global and ACB tournaments. The Brazilian could cause problems for anyone in battle, thanks to his technique and experience, plus he was absolutely fearless and a sportingly arrogant fighter. He so wanted to take possession of the coveted champion belt that he did not wait for the start of the fight.
