This computer with 32 gb ram and 2 tb storage is ideal for those who plan on keeping it for many years (5-8) and not looking to “upgrade” every month or year. I’m now replacing my 2015 15 inch MacBook Pro and that thing has been a marvelous workhorse, although a big regret was not spending extra on memory and storage. Now that I’m looking to buy this 16 inc MacBook Pro with M2 Pro chip I will not make that mistake. These are terrific machines that truly stand the test of time.

This is very true. MacBooks last a very long time and I see these M series chips lasting even longer. Definitely worth the investment by going with more memory and storage

First world problem: I want the 16” MacBook Pro.. but it’s to big lol. My 13” Air is just so perfect for weight and size I’ll make it work forever if I can 😅 That’s a beautiful machine though. I’d have a dopamine dump akin to having first child of I had one. I’d actually probably get into music again if I had one tbh. But expensive and huuuge. But I’m sure I’d get used to it. And either you’re a big dude or maybe I’m overestimating its size. In your paws it looks pretty reasonably sized. Edit: woah 😳 that brick is MASSIVE. 120w is no joke. My MacBook Air goes from like 0%-100% in like an hour with a 30w haha.

It’s def a first world problem 😅 If you ever wanted a bigger display, the 15” MacBook Air would be perfect. Otherwise you could also try the 14-inch pro, if you ever do get back to music. It’s just as powerful but way lighter and smaller. Btw I just did the M3 Pro 16” MacBook Pro, and that one has a 140W 😳

For me, I prefer Mac because I also use an iPad and iPhone. The 16in MacBook Pro is perfect for apps like premiere pro. I personally use Final Cut Pro

The largest unified memory option is 96GB for an extra $1200 😳 There’s no option to update ram once you purchase a specific model

Not the unified memory. 16GB RAM is not the same as the new 16GB Unified Memory that come with Apple silicone chips. They are a lot more affective.

Oh NOW they add a fuckin matching charging MagSafe cable but not with the M1 MacBook Pros…GMFU TIM-APPLE 💀 I suppose the next incremental refresh will be M3 chip along with FACE ID 🙄

horrible mashine for the money it should be only maximum 1000 euro , no more then this . No video card and all things come in verry cheap materials , if you want to go for something real choose Asus Republic of Gamers Strix 4090. that is a real thing for the money even that one is expansive the same
