you can get small voltage regulator chips that you adjust with a screwdriver to avoid burning out the motor

I took wires from the motor to a miniture 9v relay so the trigger switches the relay... the box mag motor which is only 3v is then switched on via the relay... no voltage issues then with the gun battery frying the box mag motor... works perfectly

Talked to my friend right now, a voltage regulator is what he used to lower down the 11.1v to 3v, 3v wasnt enough so he upped the voltage till he found the perfect balance between feeding and firing, he also said it was better to wire the drum to the motor instead of the trigger cause he didnt want to put more strees on the trigger unit, the motor is stronger and can handle way more intensity, or something like that. I hope my crappy explanations give you some ideas to perfect your build ^^

I got a 12v airsoft motor (still 130 form factor) and put that in my box mag. then I ran the cables into the motor side of my mosfet so when the trigger is pulled and the motor activates it also activates the box mag, Seems to work rather well when testing but time will tell if it running at 11.1v is good for fire rate or if ill need to turn down the voltage with a regulator. so it doesnt try and over feed on extended use.

Brilliant Idea but all you need to do is break the negative at that battery on the mag to the switch so it runs off original battery 👍 But Im on here trying to fix the same problem with my mag but taught I could sort the speaker but your way through the trigger is much better but ill still use mags battery and wire it like you did through the switch 😉

Thank you for the work you put into the videos. Going to wire my M249 to the motor over the winter. So was there a reason you did not run the wires inside the tube where the microphone wires are run?

A friend of mine wired the box motor to the gun motor instead of to the trigger, dont know why he did it like that (my choice was your way), but it works. He told me that there were some ways to "convert" the voltage from a battery to the "thing" you wanna run, lowering or highing the V to match the feeding speed with the firing speed, ive seen it done many times on electric scooters with some type of board with some tiny adjusting screws.. sorry but i have 0 idea about electrics, but i had good ideas XD.

I’m pretty new to airsoft and this seems to be one of the guns I’ve acquired. now I watched your previous video and will be getting the bullgear hop unit and you said the maple leaf macron is what you used. so what degree did you get? they have them from 50 to 80 and I really don’t even know what that means or which I should get.

How does it work now? at the moment the video is 11 month old and I would love to know how does it stand. Did it brake?

Can you explain to me how box mags with auto wind work? I don’t understand and I’m trying to figure out how to use mine.

Is the motor in mag still holding? I'm trying to something like this myself, but with 11.1 and voltage regulator.
