A fierce battle fought between the Japanese and Allied Forces over Guadalcanal Island in the Western Pacific.
Until then, the Japanese army, which had been winning consecutive battles, suffered a major defeat.
It is a battle that is positioned as a historical battle that triggered the reversal of offense and defense with the United States.
In the coastline and jungles of Guadalcanal Island, fierce battles that were said to be battlefields of hell were fought day and night.
While imagining such a situation, I applied intense weathering,
Finished the appearance of M3 STUART that was muddy with dust and mud.

今回はキットとは別にSTAR DECALSのM3 STUART用デカールセットを購入。
1942年12月、ガダルカナル島での第1海兵戦車大隊のM3 STUARTとして設定、塗装とウエザリングを進めます。
西太平洋のガダルカナル島を巡り日本軍と連合軍が繰り広げた激しい戦い。
それまで連戦連勝だった日本陸軍が大敗北を喫し、
アメリカとの攻守が逆転するきっかけとなった歴史的な戦いとして位置付けられている戦闘です。
ガダルカナル島の海岸線やジャングルの中、日夜繰り広げられた地獄の戦場と言われた壮絶な戦い。
そんな状況を想像しながら激しくウエザリングを施し、
埃や泥でグチャグチャに汚れたM3 STUARTの外観を仕上げました。

今月は夏休み休暇を一週間取らせていただきます。
いつもは2週間おきに動画を投稿していますが、

次回製作し投稿する戦車はTAMIYA 1/35 ナースホルン（夏バージョン）です。
