Thank you for no pops and bangs! That intake sound suits a E30! Beautiful ride. More than enough power for that chassis. LSD? Will it change up automatically or will it bounce off the limiter? And does the sport function still work?

Yes it's lsd , it'll bounce off the limiter all day long , there's no sport button but the drive logic does work can dial it up to full ferocious gear changes and the box was flashed with gts software

Im trying to do this. I have the transmission and the ecu, would like to see how you did your cross member for the transmission and what did you do foe the driveshaft. All other parts on the way but will accept any and all help if willing.

What a nice build! I think the dct suits the light e30 body very well and luckily you went the right route with the dct-controller setup(not htg gcu crap). Thank you for your insight. But one question, no flywheel? I cant believe this really...but you can see that the maxxecu still has a few problems, id say because there shouldn't be the bouncyness(or is it because you use a flywheel without torsiondamper and thats what you meant on entry?) It looks like the smooth shifts are more like only at full load. A big problem for a lot of dct swaps, besides the controller. Oh and is your gearbox reprogrammed with xhp?

Yes , the gearbox was flashed with gts software and it's just a ring gear and and a direct drive from crank to gearbox , maxx did launch new firmware now haven't updated yet they claim it'll make the drivability smoother though we are struggling with the bounciness on light throttle maxx claims it's the ITB's it's hard to sync . there new firmware helped a lot with the other e36 M3 I did but we converted to a single throttle cause the cars turbo charged
