It is an impressive upgrade that the new iPad Pro has, definitely much more than my 11 iPad Pro A11X! I do like how thin they made the iPad, I feel like it helps to hold it for longer in the hands! Won't be getting one myself, but still very impressed w/ how much they were able to pack in! Great unboxing and review Jack! :)

Credible unboxing and first impressions, Jack. Did you have to wear your attention-getting yellow outfit to be noticed at the Apple store this time?😊 Does the non-reflection option add to the thickness? Does Moment make add-on lenses/mounting adapter for the unit? Re handwriting, do they still teach cursive writing skills in UK schools? Cheers!

Cheers Paul! I did,you can catch my sleeve in some of the shots I took in the Apple Store 😄 Nope, no added thickness with the nano-texture. It’s etched into the glass. Moment do make a universal mount that can slide onto most tablets or phones - you just have to align it with the camera. I was taught it, but we just call it ‘joined up’ writing which doesn’t sound so fancy.. and it’s not a huge thing. Pretty sure it’s still taught today. Thanks for watching! ✌🏻

I had the older white Magic Keyboard. Never left my house and still got really dirty looking over time. I got the black Magic Keyboard to go with my m4 13inch pro, and I’m very glad i chose the black over the white. Also loving the 13 inch iPad!

I have owned 2018 and m1 2021 pros, and all of them eventually got bent (tho slightly but noticeably). Now they’re making it paper thin, cmon…

I’ll be getting the Magic Keyboard as Apple have stopped making the Smart keyboard which i love. The new Magic Keyboard looks like it might not too stable when used on a lap. Is this the case?

It is still a little top heavy. You definitely can use it on your lap, but depending on the angle and how you’re sat you’ll need to keep a hand rested on the base to stop it tipping

I’m right now torn between the 13” iPad Air & 11” iPad Pro 256GB; which would you recommend? As I already use 15” M2 MBA for normal office / work use

Chip wise, M2 vs M4, they’re both gonna be beasts. Maybe Apple will announce some M4 only stuff at WWDC next month but we’ll see. Both the new Air and Pro work with the new Apple Pencil Pro, but only the Pro works with the new Magic Keyboard if that’s something you wanted. I’d say the biggest difference would be the screen and price. The OLED on the Pro really looks stunning, plus you get the 120Hz high refresh rate which makes everything feel smoother. But ultimately, there’s not really anything you can do on the Pro that you can’t on the Air. If you just want an iPad for casuall stuff the Air will be fine, unless you want to fork out for the better display!

Yes, the OLED is stunning, it's noticeable from the videos as well...but, for day-to-day work usage, I doubt anyone who's using the iPad Air will notice a difference as the M2 is a pretty powerful chip as well...I think I will go for the Air 13" model as I can do all the stuff I want on it...well the amount I will pay for the iPad Pro, it's better to get the Macbook Pro as it is better value for the money

Literally just got back from Apple. Brought my iPad M1 there to trade in for new pro M4. Well I came home with my M1. Couldn’t see much difference 🤷♂️ Even the clerk there asked me if I still have warranty I said yes he said yours is fine. Saved me $1100

This is probably normal, but when I’m watching YT videos on my 13” pro, not full screen, the area above and below light up with colours from the video after a while. I thought this might be light bleed but my iPad 9 does it. Scared the life out of me lol.

Yeah that’s KZfaq’s Ambient Light Mode.. I’ve turned it off because I found it distracting!

I'm staying with me M2 iPad. Sorry Apple. Especially since the only meaningful thing I could upgrade for (if for some reason I wanted to) would be the new pencil. But even then, the rotation feature may be useful to me, but it isn't something worth upgrading for, and the squish/press to bring up a menu? - I would disable it immediately just like I did the tap on my 2nd gen pencil, simply because it's so annoying.

For some people it can be, I’ve had comments on my videos from students saying they use an iPad for College or Uni. But the iPad Pro still feels like a companion device. I think the MacBook Air would be a better choice for most who are looking for something for Uni. More flexibility with macOS verses iPadOS! ✌🏻

Do you feel the 13 inch is too big? I ordered the 11 inch but i’m curious about the 13 inch. I play games, watch HDR content, and use my iPad for school (mostly note taking). I’m upgrading from a 2018 pro. Occasionally i’ll travel with it too.

I don’t personally, I’ve always gone for the bigger display. You get more space in your apps especially for things like split screen and multitasking. I’m probably one of the few people that would take a 15” iPad if they made one 👀 And I do carry my iPad in my backpack when I don’t need my MacBook Pro, I find it fine for travel. Even take it on some flights!

@@JCKRGB Thank you for your reply! 😊 I became curious about the 13 because they made it so thin and light. I figured it wouldn’t seem too bulky now for my taste. I think i’ll go for the 13 inch when I pick up my order. If they have it in stock i’ll swap it. I’ve always gotten the smaller iPads so this will be a cool change. Thank you for sharing your opinion!
